^ This rarely ever happened before Trump. When he first made hate and racism 'fashionable', they came crawling out from their hidey-holes, but they quickly discovered that their behaviour was unacceptable (and punishable) and they went crawling back in. They're coming out again with the pandemic.

The last incident I can recall was this past November 11, our Remembrance Day. It was during the 2 minute silence that some idiot anti-vaxxer got onto her bullhorn and started preaching. She had veterans in their 90s crying.

Trump's influence is lasting and far-reaching and, if I might add, disgusting.
 
No question but that While Trump was in office, the deplorables in Canada also began to feel emboldened to shout their hate from the rooftops.

As well, unfortunately the cable companies in Canada carry Fox 'News' and too many people up here pay attention to it.

The west has always hated Ottawa, feeling that they never get their fair share of anything. They are like the midwest states with more cows than people who control the electoral outcomes in the US.

I also suspect that in this case, if we follow the money that was raised, we will find that it wasn't all from individuals.

The good news though is that the behaviour of these yahoos in Ottawa has left most people in Canada disgusted and more concerned about the right wing fringe movements here as well.

Circling back to the term "deplorables" from the subject, hopefully Canadians will take it seriously... back in 2016, it just seemed like a gaffe.

After only 3 days, Ottawa is thoroughly disgusted with the mob as are a majority of Canadians. What began as a protest against border crossing mandates has turned into an all-out demand for the removal of all Covid mandates and restrictions across the country.

Josh Hawley may have legitimate worries about the demasculinization of conservative males. They seem to be living in a state of fear and perpetual outrage.

Supposedly, Ben Shapiro has been married for a decade and he has a couple of kids that he is assumed to have fathered. Yet, he's very active on Twitter responding and sometimes flirting with progressive and liberal gay guys.

It's kind of strange, isn't it?

If you turn off the sound on a video like the one below, it looks like some gay millennial ranting about something.


Watch it with sound and you ask, "What's a straight Jewish guy doing at Home Depot and WTF is he going to do with a 24" plank of wood?". And "Girl, could that shirt be any tighter?".

After watching that video, which I initially resisted to do, I'm left with just one question...was I wrong in my earlier inquiry as to 'who is the dick' in Rareboy's post above? Jeez...that Ben guy is a complete asshole! Maybe Joe Rogan is the dick...nah, he's an asshole too! :lol:

I wasn't incorrect calling them a 'mob'. I heard on the news this morning that, although thousands of truckers have left the protest in Ottawa, several hundred still remain. GoFundMe has shut down their account and is returning about $10 million to donators.

Oh, and the 'peaceful protest' has been upgraded to an 'occupation'.

A similar protest is planned for Toronto this weekend.
 
^ That could completely rewrite the definition of 'woke'. It might finally wake them up to the poison that is Donald J. Trump.
