It appears that Ted Cruz and a few other GOP senators are asking the DOJ to block a "no-fly list" for anti-maskers. Apparently it's not fair to them.

A group of Republican senators pressed the Department of Justice to block the creation of a federal no-fly list of disruptive passengers since it would be unfair to people who break mask mandates.

They noted that most of the recent uptick in unruly behavior on planes was down to people not obeying mask rules, and said it would be unfair to punish them with a flight ban.

The letter was signed by eight GOP senators, including Ted Cruz of Texas, Mike Lee of Utah, and Marco Rubio and Rick Scott of Florida.

They argued that systematically blocking anti-maskers from flying would be excessive given that prior no-fly lists are limited to terror suspects.

Aren't passengers in an enclosed airplane, sometimes for hours, refusing to wear a mask and threatening to infect the other passengers with a potentially deadly disease 'terrorists'?

There is no "right" to "not" do something, that is a legal fiction. There are only "rights" protecting legally defined things - speech, religion, etc. One EXPLICITLY across ALL categories of "rights" loses that right if it endangers or impinges on other people, or takes their "rights" away, so yes, one CAN be required to wear a mask, just like one can be required to vaccinate, or wear a seat belt.

But don't expect the trogs to care about what the law says or what the Constitution actually says, they'll take away the "right" to choose from anyone they don't like, they just whine about masks because it's the fashionable fig leaf for the same old hater bullshit.

I guarantee you that if there were loud and vocal demands from the minority demographics at the start of this, the trogs would be demanding that masks be required.

Same political bullshit for why Fucker suddenly loves Russia.

These same folks that will yell and scream "BUH MUH FREEDUMB" on a plane do have another option. Drive, simple as that. If you cause a disturbance on a plane because you refuse to wear a mask than you should be on a No Fly List. I don't want your Covid, and I damn sure don't want to have to have the plane get turned around or have an emergency landing because of your dumbass!

I think it's more a Texas thing than a Christian school thing (these are 3 separate examples):

Edison High School in San Antonio kicked four members of the varsity football team off the roster for the remainder of the 2014 campaign following a locker room incident.

Leslie Price, a spokesperson for the San Antonio Independent School District, said four students were disciplined with one of the students charged with attempted sexual assault.

According to San Antonio NBC affiliate WOAI, the investigation began with David Sanchez, a member of the Edison varsity squad who was accused of attempted sexual assault of a teammate with a toothbrush. Three other students are accused of dog piling the victim, according to the warrant.

All the other players had left the locker room, but two of the boy’s teammates stayed behind, the suit said.

The two upperclassmen held the student down and sexually assaulted him, according to the federal lawsuit. The boy recalls “screaming and yelling as loud as he could.”

After the assault, he went to the basketball court, the suit said, where his teammates were laughing, “knowing exactly what had happened.” The coach was also on the court, and it had become clear that he’d heard the student shouting but ignored the assault and “did nothing,” the suit said.

That was one of many sex assaults he’d endure by his teammates at his high school in La Vernia, Texas (about 30 miles east of San Antonio), the suit said. They happened more times than the student could count, the suit says, but the victim estimates they occurred at least 30 times while he was a student from October 2016 to February 2017.

The Associated Press reports Cynthia Perkins and her now ex-husband Dennis Perkins were both arrested in October 2019 and charged with two counts of first-degree rape, 60 counts of producing porn involving a juvenile under the age of 13, and with a slew of other child sex crime charges.

Cynthia was reportedly a teacher in Livingston Parish while her husband, Dennis, was a Livingston Parish sheriff's deputy at the time of their arrest.

This is defined as sexual assault, but it's really a bullying sports culture thing. Those are extreme examples of the common hazing culture that's actually encouraged by the coaches, and if you report it, they'll tell you to suck it up and don't be such a pussy.
