A timely reminder about a Hall-Of-Fame Deplorable and how slow the justice system works when it is up against a well-funded Narcissistic Deplorable Grifter/Huckster:

As the new film "The Truth vs. Alex Jones" once again makes painfully clear, Jones was one of the loudest voices amplifying lies about those who were killed at Sandy Hook. In 2012, when the mass shooting took place, the conspiracy kingpin was near the height of his power and reach; as he has done with countless other mass casualty events, he repeatedly called the shooting a “hoax” and a “false flag,” and provided a platform for other Sandy Hook deniers to do so as well...

Jones and Infowars were found liable by default in both states in 2021 after failing to respond to discovery. The jury in the first damages trial found that they should pay $49 million in damages to Neil Heslin and Scarlett Lewis, whose son Jesse died in the shooting. Following the even larger verdict in Connecticut, Jones filed for Chapter 11 personal bankruptcy in December 2022. He has yet to pay a penny of the damages, though, as the case moves through bankruptcy court. In February, the Sandy Hook families –now Jones’ largest creditor — voted to conclude the bankruptcy proceedings by liquidating his assets and distributing the proceeds. An approval hearing on that plan is scheduled for May.

Evil goes unpunished and on the rampage in the US, aided and abetted by the system itself.

Jeebus Christ, what an idiot. Of course, dating the Mouth has got to be intellectually stunting.

Today in stupid Legislator tricks...

The Republicans in Tennessee think that California is putting vaccines in your lettuce. They proposed a bill to amend the definition of "pharmaceuticals" to include food that might-possibly-ever-you-know-kinda-maybe-somehow-someday contain vaccines.

The Democrats asked if there were any examples in the State of Tennessee where a vaccine had been put into food. The Bill's sponsor said he was unaware of any examples.

The Bill, which has been labeled the "Lettuce Vaccine Bill", has passed the Senate and House with majorities and is headed to the Governor's desk for signature. 🤦‍♂️

and meanwhile.....speaking of hot messes.

Scientists have determined that the epicenter was east of Lebanon, NJ which is the home of the Trump Bedminster Golf Course. Same place Ivana Trump was buried last year.

Deplorable Podcaster is in trouble for possible campaign finance violations. The accusation is that part-time Senator Cruz's full time job as a podcaster is funneling sponsor and advertiser money to his 2024 Senate campaign.

When I approached Sen. Ted Cruz at the Capitol this week, he appeared upbeat, quipping that he was "living the dream" when I opened our conversation.

The Texas Republican quickly turned combative, however, when I told him I had questions about a strange story that began bubbling up in recent weeks about his thrice-weekly "Verdict" podcast and a super PAC set up for the sole purpose of supporting his reelection.

"Of course you do," Cruz replied. "I understand you have a mission to write an attack piece."
