And Let's not forget about the other Deplorables

Surprised, not surprised.

The CFO for far-right news outlet Epoch Times has been indicted for laundering $67 million in fraudulent unemployment insurance claims. Epoch Times is associated with the Falun Gong Chinese cult which promotes anti-vax, QAnon and other far-right conspiracy theories. Epoch Times has been a supporter of Trump.

Weidong “Bill” Guan — CFO for the news site that also distributes papers across the US, UK, France and Canada — is alleged to have laundered $67 million in the alleged scheme, according to a Monday indictment by the US Justice Department.

Guan, a 61-year-old resident of Secaucus, NJ, used a cryptocurrency platform to buy up prepaid debit cards at a discount after they were loaded with money that was obtained from fraudulent unemployment insurance claims, court papers said.

Justice Department officials said the alleged scheme increased the Epoch Times’ revenue by nearly 400% in just a year — from $15 million to $62 million.

And another evangelical Republican congregant-diddler has died and gone to hell.

Paul Pressler, the monumental Southern Baptist leader and Republican activist at the center of a massive sex abuse scandal, died on June 7. He was 94.

...Pressler was one of the most influential, if lesser-known, evangelical figures of the last half-century, having co-led a movement in the Southern Baptist Convention that pushed the nation’s second-largest faith group to adopt literal interpretations of the Bible, strongly condemn homosexuality and more closely align with the Republican Party.

Pressler was an attorney, who served in the Texas Legislature and later, a judge in Texas. In addition to his activism in the Southern Baptist Convention, Pressler was an advisor to Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.

Pressler also had a taste for young men that he met through Baptist youth groups.
...His death came barely six months after he confidentially settled a high-profile lawsuit with a former member of his youth group who accused him of decades of rape. As part of the suit, at least six other men came forward alleging that they were abused or solicited for sex by Pressler in a string of incidents dating from 1978 to 2016. Pressler denied the allegations and was never criminally charged..

As Pressler continued to wield political influence, he also allegedly raped, groped or solicited at least six men, including one who says he was 14 when he was first sexually abused while a member of Pressler’s youth group. Those allegations were outlined in a 2017 lawsuit that also accused prominent Southern Baptist leaders and churches of concealing or enabling Pressler’s behavior, which they deny.

This might be an appropriate place to put Randy's MTG video:

This will be #3 for Texas ministers who got caught... this one for kiddie porn.

No drag queens were involved, as usual.

This one is particularly messy because the church met in a public junior high school auditorium in Montgomery County, Texas which is north of Houston.

A Houston-area church has fired its longtime pastor after local police arrested him on child pornography charges.

In a public statement, Calvary Chapel of The Woodlands announced its board had unanimously stripped 63-year-old Bruce Hollen of his lead pastor role on May 8, the same day that Montgomery County authorities arrested him.

“The board hereby has determined that Bruce Hollen no longer has authority, authorization, or permission to conduct any business on behalf of Calvary Chapel of the Woodlands,” the church website said. “He may not hold himself out as a leader in any capacity for the church, and he may not speak on behalf of the church in any capacity.”

All other information on the church’s website was disabled. The church’s social media accounts have also been taken down, including its official Facebook account.

According to Montgomery County authorities, Hollen was charged with possession with intent to promote child pornography, a second-degree felony in Texas. His arrest follows a sting operation targeting internet crimes against children. Authorities said Hollen possessed sexually explicit photos of girls between the ages of 9 and 12.

Hollen was booked into the Montgomery County Jail, and his bond was set at $30,000.

The Calvary Chapel of Woodlands met in an auditorium at McCullough Junior High School, but local school board officials said the church met on Sundays and not when students were on campus, ABC 13 reported.

Tip for churches: check the sex offender registry before you hire a new pastor:

And while the Southern Baptist Convention would like for everyone to be distracted by their recent votes on IVF, they're under investigation for covering up sexual abuse in their churches.

None of the SBC ministers is known to be a drag queen.

A former Southern Baptist seminary professor and interim provost has been indicted on a charge of obstructing justice in a sexual misconduct case, the Department of Justice announced May 21.

Matt Queen, who was previously an administrator and professor at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, allegedly gave the FBI falsified notes during an ongoing investigation into alleged sexual misconduct at the Fort Worth seminary. He was arraigned Tuesday, according to the DOJ.

“As alleged, Matthew Queen attempted to interfere with a federal grand jury investigation by creating false notes in an attempt to corroborate his own lies,” said U.S. Attorney Damian Williams of the Southern District of New York in a statement.

“The criminal obstruction charge announced today should exemplify the seriousness of attempts by any individual to manipulate or interfere with a federal investigation.”

Queen, who was named pastor of Friendly Avenue Baptist Church in Greensboro, N.C., earlier this year, could not be reached for comment.

The Woodlands is a pricey, Lilly White suburb of Houston, full of Maga idiots.

OK, so this guy made threatening phone calls to Fani Willis and the police in an attempt to free Toad. What sentence do the prosecutors ask for?

LENIENCY! - because he's didn't "know" he was threatening anyone!

The difficulty is knowing whether a 58 year old Bubba is actually so fucking stupid as to not realize that he is threatening someone given that Trump has spent a lifetime doing this and claiming the same thing.

Should be now known as the 'Trump Defense'.

One just has to know that when one doesn't understand the pushback over a law that you championed, it's not a good law ](*,)

...Shane Desguin, a career employee of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, rose to become the agency's chief of staff. He alleges his retirement in November was actually a "wrongful termination" and was the result of him blowing the whistle on a host of issues, including violations of state public records laws, illegal orders to arrest demonstrators without probable cause and directives to obtain photos and personal information of migrants flown to the Sunshine State without legal justification..

But Biden is the corrupt one.

^ Interesting that she claims that it is an historical document. It isn't.
She knows exactly why; she's just a grandstanding liar. The why is exactly the point of that. She needs to read that part about bearing false witness.

I think it does qualify as a historical document, why shouldn’t it? However by the same standard the Five Pillars of Islam qualifies as well so in the name of compromise they should be posted side by side. After all it is the same God.

Or why not post the original 42 from the Egyptians' Ideals of Ma'at?

Or these other commandments from Exodus?

14 Do not worship any other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.

17 Do not make cast idols.

18 Celebrate the Feast of Unleavened Bread. For seven days eat bread made without yeast, as I commanded you. Do this at the appointed time in the month of Aviv, for in that month you came out of Egypt.

19 The first offspring of every womb belongs to me, including all the firstborn males of your livestock, whether from herd or flock.

21 Six days you shall labor, but on the seventh day you shall rest; even during the plowing season and harvest you must rest.

22 Celebrate the Feast of Weeks with the firstfruits of the wheat harvest, and the Feast of Ingathering at the turn of the year.

25 Do not offer the blood of a sacrifice to me along with anything containing yeast,

25 and do not let any of the sacrifice from the Passover Feast remain until morning.

26 Bring the best of the first fruits of your soil to the house of the LORD your God.

27 Do not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.

...The why is exactly the point of that. She needs to read that part about bearing false witness.
In which version? That's only in the Jewish and Protestant version of the Commandments. 🤦‍♂️

The Commandments are in the Qur'an... just not in a concise list like the other monotheistic franchises.

Alas, Toad gave hope to pedophiles and rapists everywhere. Anyway, it's the traditional White Protestant way to just not talk about it.
