Originally charged with two counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct, Saylor, 71, is now charged with four first-degree counts of CSC with a relative and two charges of CSC with victims under 13 and a defendant over 17.

Saylor is also charged with four counts of second-degree CSC with a relative and one count of second-degree CSC with a child under 13 and a defendant over 17. All of the listed charges pertain to one victim who was between 11 and 15 at the time of the alleged assaults. First-degree CSC involves penetration and second-degree CSC is touching.

Pierce County Sheriff Office deputies arrested an Evergreen Elementary School teacher on suspicion of first-degree child molestation on April 18, according to a statement from the Peninsula School District.

The teacher is in custody at the Pierce County Jail, the school district said. The district previously placed the teacher on administrative leave after learning about allegations of misconduct.

Attorneys representing a victim identified the teacher as Jordan Henderson. The online Pierce County jail roster lists a person by that name held on suspicion of eight counts of first-degree child molestation.

Jonathan Edward Elwing, senior pastor of Palm View Baptist Church in Palmetto, was arrested June 21 on four counts of possession of child sexual abuse images.

The church, located on the southern edge of Tampa Bay, confirmed the arrest of Elwing, 43, on its Facebook page that same evening. Elwing resigned from the church prior to being arrested.

The church’s chairman of deacons told local news that Palm View had held several training sessions on identifying signs of sexual abuse. He added that Elwing, who according to online records began at the church in November 2019, followed a pastor who had been with the congregation for 41 years.

Royce White, age 33 , is a former NBA player turned right-wing podcaster who is running as the Republican candidate in the Senate race in Minnesota, against Democrat Amy Klobuchar. White seems to be a few fries short of a Happy Meal.

His podcast, quite appropriately, goes by the name, "Royce White: Please Call Me Crazy". He's a Steve Bannon acolyte who has referred to himself at various times as "Antisemite, Blackface, Extremist, Cis-Male, Sexist, Misogynist, Homophobic, Transphobic" but has justified those terms saying that the "radical Communist Left" has referred to him with those terms.

His latest stunt is posting anti-LGBT memes in response to the Democrat's "Weird" messaging campaign.

This guy is running for the US Senate. This is the best that Republicans in Minnesota could come up with?

Honestly, looking at the Republican Party in Arizona, Michigan and Minnesota, one would wonder if the Republicans have a recruiting booth outside the State Asylum. It's a real head-scratcher on strategy: "We'll appeal to lunatics and hope that there are enough of them who vote, in order to win elections."?

Well, they feel they've been under-represented for so long.

It's actually about the bigotry. Poor White bigots are tired of being discriminated against just for being the master race, all the while brown rapists and murderers are stealing all their jobs and money and fucking all their women. Black people across the South are intolerably uppity and the damned homos are seducing all their boys and destroying White civilization with their ass sex.

From what I can see, MN has yet to have its primary, so White is only running for nomination. There is another candidate that looks like he is more "normal" Republican who could win the nomination.

To a degree, this race is probably a hard one to get people for, since it seems so likely Amy Klobuchar will win. If one is viable AND wants to be elected, one will logically aim for a race where one has a realistic hope of winning.

I see this kind of thing where I live--it can be hard getting viable Republcans to run. I've seen so many candidates that usually only get the most faithful Republican voters.
 
How is it that the Women at Faux put up with that crap? I mean sure, they all share one brain, but even one braid can spot the misogyny in that a mile off.

The host and the guest both came off poorly.

The host did interrupt and was dismissive, and the guest did argue from generalizations.

Mr. Whte did not come across to the average viewer as crazy. They simply appeared to be politically enemies.

Jeffrey Clark, the Trump-era Justice Department official who advocated for the department to contact Georgia and cast doubt on Donald Trump’s 2020 election loss, should face a two-year suspension from practicing law, a disciplinary committee in Washington, DC, said Thursday.

As an environmental lawyer at the Justice Department, Clark tried to push through an official letter to officials in Georgia after the 2020 election, urging the state to interfere with the election results. His superiors at the Justice Department told him no.

The disciplinary committee found Clark included false and misleading information in the letter.

“What Mr. Clark did was objectively reckless, but subjectively, the evidence indicated that he thought he had been chosen for a historic cause, to which he applied all of his energies,” the three-person hearing committee wrote in its findings.
