And Let's not forget about the other Deplorables

"She's really taken the country by storm. Very powerful person. Very strong person. Very courageous person. A warrior. Laura Loomer. Laura. Where are you? Thank you Laura...great job you do....Laura, how are you, you look so beautiful, as always. That's woman with courage...Thanks, Laura."
—Donald Trump on good friend and "travelling companion," Laura Loomer

Girl is really doubling down at this point....

You know your campaign’s in trouble when your opponent has Taylor Swift and you have Laura Loomer.

and the battle between the two covens continues...again, I can't imagine why TrumpCo. is allowing Looner to come at MTG, except that this is part of some scorched earth type of Hail Mary pass...

Let's just unpack this for a moment. This is the GQP candidate for president appearing to throw a juvenile tantrum.

But it isn't. It is much more deliberate and threatening than that.

He is using his megaphone to weaponize his followers against her.

Maybe he thinks he can hurt her sales or career.

But just as likely, he knows that he can incite actuals threats and physical violence against her. Like his lies about Springfield generated bomb threats and threats of harm against Haitian immigrants.

How desperate must he and his campaign be at this moment to stoop to this. The unintended consequnce though is to underscore his apparent impotence.

I guess she's been kicked off the plane?

Phewwww.

To have died without ever having lived....not fair.

I've long suspect that none of them know or care what the truth actually is because they know the Trog horde is just after bigoted outrage and that's pretty much it.

I also suspect that they will reject actual truth if it doesn't fit their prejudices. They are the epitome of confirmation bias, and they are mostly just fine with that.

I would find this far more scandalous if the questions posed were actually answered. Imagine being a debate questioner agonizing over which questions you might ask only to have candidates go off in their own direction when answering.

Migrants being dropped off in a strange city with a different culture would be better off knowing who supports them. Yes, it would be better to have a sign they could put in a window or something.

This still makes absolutely no sense. I get that migrants get tossed on buses in Texas and dumped like trash in other cities to make a point, but the story isn't about that, and it is weird to think that people should have to put a sign in their window to indicate support for them.

Immigration doesn't work like that at all and you would be amazed, I'll bet, to find out that most are very adaptable to North American 'culture'. It is almost as though you think that people should advertise their house as a 'safe house' for migrants in case they are being pursued by a mob.

And the Ohio sheriff who’s “taking down addresses of Harris signs”

I think it would be interesting for someone to rearrange the yard signs during the night from time to time. Maybe make sure some of the signs being tracked keep ending up on the sheriff's lawn. :ninja:

There is more to bussing migrants than just making their stated point. They're normalizing in the minds of their followers the idea of throwing away "undesirable" people. So that when they start putting migrants on box cars or trucks, and shipping them to camps, it will appear to be acceptable and justified. The pet eating lie is part of the justification on a national level. Make migrants seem barbaric and inhuman, so it's acceptable and justified to throw them away. It is all part of the same evil plan, patterned after 1930s Nazis.

America has never been that kind or receptive to immigrants...all the way back to the colonial days.

It seems there has always been some displaced population to hate on.

Certainly, the detention of the Japanese Americans in camps and the appalling family separation camps that Trump created suggest that it can happen again and again.

They shouldn't have to do it, I think they would want to.

Why? Why would "they" "want to?"

As pointed out, that suggestion was asinine and pointless and completely irrelevant to the subject of voter intimidation attempts by the right.

Legal immigrants can live wherever they please and the undocumented ones aren't going up to any stranger's house sign or no sign and pretending they would is utterly ignorant.

Unless of course there was another motive for such a suggestion.
