Yeah, just pretend like the truth doesn't exist and "both sides" everything, regardless of the truth and the facts. The truth is not biased.
My experience is, people who claim those who present the truth and the facts are biased, are really complaining about not being biased in favor of themselves.
What he is proposing is an amoral equivalence with "both sides", when his job should be to tell the truth and expose the lies.
No computerized "bias meter" has the moral or intellectual capacity to discern the truth. This is a just way to present his own bias and disguise it as some false "fairness" presentation.

Certainly there are reasons why many people are turning away from media like the Times, MSNBC and WAPO as their owners become increasingly complicit in enabling a corporate fascist government. The problem is there are fewer and fewer other options for world class respected journalists. Xitter has destroyed any credibility for jouranlism by telling anyone who pays them $8 a month that they are now the journalists and basically attacking any of the accredited journalists. This is the reason that the European Journalists' group, representing hundreds of reporters have shifted their platform to Bluesky, which at the moment, is the only respectable space for fact based reporting.

Sounds like the Times might be about to lose a lot of their talent.
