You left out part of it... Trump said that Gazans were using the condoms to make bombs. Condom bombs.

I had the misfortune of having watched it before the network mercifully cut away to avoid broadcasting his blatant lies. The man is not living in the same reality as the rest of us.

Another thing to notice- he was standing in the place that other Presidents traditionally make announcements. What was different this time was that there was a Marine military guard standing on both sides of the hallway in the background. There was also an audience applauding when he told the lies. I assume it was an audience... or perhaps it was a canned audience track to make it seem like there were people cheering and applauding the emperor and his nakedness.
