Meet Solarte Basto, a 33 year old Florida pastor. Basto is accused of sexually abusing multiple underage girls in his church office.

A Sanford man police said inappropriately touched two underage girls and sexually assaulted one of them when he was pastor at a local church was arrested Wednesday in Virginia.

Yersson David Solarte Basto, 33, formerly of Ipul Pentecostal Church in Sanford, was taken into custody on charges of sexual battery and lewd and lascivious molestation by the Prince William County Police Department, according to a Thursday news release from the Sanford Police Department.

The alleged victims were members of the church. The incidents took place at the church and Solarte Basto was removed as pastor after the allegations were made against him, the release said.
