That might explain her ubiquitous presence at Mar-A-Lago.

A cross-over....but a singularly deplorable act of cynicism.

Be Best... the sequel. Maybe we'll get a Dickensian Christmas at the White House, complete with starving children and pestilence.

So Orwellian.

Someone is planting stories about "Ron DeSantis is soooo 2020" in the media. And his wife is getting tar and feathers all over her at the same time.

These are challenging days for Ron DeSantis, the Florida governor who would have been king. Barely two and a half years since his landslide re-election and anointment as “DeFuture” of the Republican party in a fawning New York Post cover, he stands isolated from the national political stage, feuding with his once blindingly loyal Florida legislature, and limping towards the finish line of his second term with an uncertain pathway beyond.

It has been, in the view of many analysts, a fall of stunning velocity and magnitude. And while few are willing to completely rule out a comeback for a 46-year-old politician who was the darling of the Republican hard right until he dared to challenge Donald Trump for his party’s 2024 presidential nomination, it is also clear that everything has changed.

“He’s completely crashed to the ground at this point and is certainly being treated like a more standard, average governor now,” said Aubrey Jewett, professor of political science at the University of Central Florida.

“He’s lost the ability to push things through. He’s lost that luster he had that at one time seemed like he could do no wrong in Republican conservative circles. He’s definitely come back down to earth and some of it is his own doing because if you govern with an autocratic style, that doesn’t usually make you a lot of allies.”

The grifters gonna grift.

While Trump has ordered harassment an FBI investigation into Act Blue, the Democratic Party fundraising organization, Kari Lake has been continuing to solicit funds through her fundraising organization, WinRed. Lake's donors are starting to ask for their money back, but no one is investigating WinRed.

Conservative donors have disputed hundreds of campaign contributions sent to Kari Lake, the former Arizona Senate candidate who is now helping Donald Trump dismantle Voice of America.

Even though Lake lost her bid to be a senator from Arizona in November, Federal Election Commission records show that she has continued to collect thousands of small-dollar donations through WinRed, the conservative counterpart to the liberal fundraising platform ActBlue.

Lake’s donations have drawn what political consultants said is a high rate of chargebacks, a reversed charge initiated by a donor’s bank after they dispute the transaction. Chargebacks are often considered a last-resort option for donors who can’t secure refunds. Lake, who once criticized a fellow Republican for a high rate of refunds, has drawn one chargeback for every seven donations in the first quarter of 2025, FEC records show.

At a time when Trump is targeting ActBlue for a Justice Department investigation, critics said Lake’s chargebacks serve as a red flag for potentially questionable fundraising tactics.

Yeah...the knives were out for DeSantis since mid last year.

TBH...I think that there is a lot of DeSantis fatigue and worry that he is ripe to lose the next election because of this.

But someone (many) in the back rooms certainly knew how to zoom in on the things that would cut him off at the knees instead of circling the wagons to protect him at all costs.

Too bad. So sad. Oh well.

When I think of hurricanes or tornadoes and wind damage in general it’s mostly red states that come to mind.

The idiots who voted for Toad can fuck the fuck off. Good, no money for them. They can take comfort in the fact that they voted their disaster relief away in favor of tax welfare for Elon Musk.

They can just suck it the fuck up.

Nancy Mace. Her performance stunt in Congress showing her naked body appears to have been the revenge for her blackmail attempts gone wrong.

Controversial congresswoman Nancy Mace allegedly planned to use naked photos found on her boyfriend’s phone as leverage for two lucrative properties she wanted him to give her.

An explosive deposition by Mace’s former political adviser claims that the MAGA Republican was obsessed with talking about sex, and paints her as someone who plays “the victim card.”

Taking naked pics of your BF or GF is never a good idea and one day people will maybe learn this...but in this case, it would be easy to think that the pic taking was consensual, that Mace then saw a way to get something from a BF who likely dumped her because she is a nutter and that plan didn't work so now she is dragging her ex through Congress to let everyone know what a shitheel she thinks he is.

But too many people know her now.

It doesn't take a billion dollar electronic brain to figure that one out. Let's ask Jesus instead.
Jesus says no.
