And Let's not forget about the other Deplorables

Anyone who can read her opinions in the media and then either still read her books or have their children read them....

Still smarting about the drubbing she took for her false claims about Khelif.

She is a nasty, dark soul.

It gets worse...much worse.

She posted a video from a cemetery with a faux apology that ended with mocking the outrage, her constituent's concern, and comparing it to the Tooth Fairy. Then going on to basically say, just die and be happy with Jesus.

What a sociopath.

When I saw Ernst's "apology", I thought this had to have been an AI prank.

It's been a while since I've seen a worse act of political self-immolation. Walking around a cemetery in an unflattering chartreuse sweater with her personal cellphone talking about the tooth fairy, eternal life and "my lord and savior, Jesus Christ"?

The Saturday Night Live skit writes itself.

No. It is because of the slavery.

MTG and all the other GQP who literally have no idea what is in their bill.

For years, the Republican have been whining about omnibus bills that get sent to them at the last minute that they don't have time to read before being asked to vote on them.

And now that they're in charge, guess what happens?

Another out of touch rich white guy with health insurance paid by the taxpayer who is clueless about the needs of American workers.

The worst part is though, that he is the top of the GQP in the legislative branch.

Remember when Lindell would daily promise to produce proof that the election had been stolen by Dominion?

The defense strategy is that if he believed it was true, the actual facts don't matter.

The statistic about employer-based insurance is not correct. It varies by State but the number of private sector employers offering some form of health insurance is around 85%. That statistic is also misleading because "offering" means that it is available, not that it is affordable or that ALL employees are eligible. Employers with fewer than 50 employees aren't required to provider healthcare insurance- those employees often have to chose a Government Marketplace insurance. As long as an employer with more than 50 employees keeps the employees' schedule under 32 hours/week, they aren't required to offer health insurance to those employees.

Thune should be called out because Medicaid is a program for poor people and the primary beneficiaries are newborns/children (38%).

And about 33-34% goes to nursing homes another group that can’t pay for it themselves. Abe Lincoln once said ‘the government should only do for the people what they can’t do for themselves’ I’d say Medicare easily clears that bar.

Because it's a day of the week that ends in "Y", here's another story about a pastor diddling with a minor. This one started back in 2022 when the congregant was 15 years old and Rev Nathan Roach was the youth pastor at the Holliday First Baptist Church in Texas.

The arrest warrant for a Holliday pastor arrested Friday sheds more light on the details of the alleged relationship he had with a teenage girl.

Texas Rangers arrested Nathan Roach, 31, on May 30 for an alleged relationship he had with a child under 18. He is charged with child grooming. Roach bonded out of jail after his arrest on a $100,000 bond.

This Florida (of course) pastor really liked chicken.

Daniel Lamppin was a youth pastor and a manager at Chick-fil-a. He also had sex with this foster children.

On Wednesday, 40-year-old Daniel Lamppin made his first court appearance where a judge gave him no bond and ordered he not discuss the case with his wife or children who are "potential witnesses."

Lamppin is facing 24 counts of sexual battery by a custodian, according to the Osceola County sheriff.

The sheriff said Lamppin worked as a manager at Chick-fil-A on South Orange Blossom Trail and as a volunteer youth pastor at Connection Church on Generation Point in Kissimmee.
