Miller. Again. Today.

Just a reminder: Stephen Miller is a descendant of Jews who left Belarus and came to America. They were lucky enough to get through the door in 1903 before the anti-immigrant acts were passed in 1917 and 1924. Those laws were part of the eugenics movement, so they sought to block immigration of Catholics and Jews and people who didn't speak English. Miller's Jewish ancestors didn't speak English, so they would have been prevented from coming to the US. They would have died in the Holocaust a generation later.

Isn't fate such an extraordinary thing.

That such evil exists because Frau Hitler had a baby.

That Miller's family lucked out in the draw, but were destined to produce a hateful, twisted sociopath (psychopath) who would manouvre his way to becoming the
chief architect of policy for a broken country intent on installing a dictator.

The funny part? He didn't know that the richest man in the world with a dick that doesn't funtion normally would steal his wife.

Is anyone writing all this down for the stage and film version?

Ah, Matt Schlapp has company in the getting drunk and groping menz club.

Michael Tait, a gospel singer who has won several Grammys, was recently accused of doing drugs and getting drunk with other men. The men told news outlets that they woke to find Tait fondling them while they were passed out.

Tait, to his credit, admitted he had a drug problem and entered rehab in January. He's a little less clear on his getting handsy with the fellas, though.

Michael Tait, the former lead singer of Christian rock band Newsboys and member of Grammy-winning group DC Talk, publicly confessed Tuesday to a history of "reckless and destructive behavior," including drug and alcohol abuse and unwanted sexual conduct involving men...

Tait's confession follows an in-depth investigative report published by The Roys Report last week, in which three men accused him of sexual assault during separate incidents dating back to 2004. The investigation also documented long-term allegations of drug and alcohol abuse during his time as a touring Christian music artist...

In a written statement on Instagram, the 59-year-old singer acknowledged that "recent reports of my reckless and destructive behavior … are sadly, largely true."

"For some two decades, I used and abused cocaine, consumed far too much alcohol, and, at times, touched men in an unwanted sensual way. I am ashamed of my life choices and actions, and make no excuses for them. I will simply call it what God calls it — sin," he wrote...

Tait revealed that he entered treatment shortly after abruptly stepping down from Newsboys in January, spending six weeks in recovery in Utah for addiction and emotional healing.

A closet case that doesn't know how to exit.

^ The worst part is that a lot of the Dems will show up.

The Big Beautiful Bill...

Part of the panic to get it passed is that Republicans made a mistake when they passed the 2017 tax cuts. They set the tax cuts to expire in 2025, assuming that Trump would get re-elected in 2020 and then a Democratic President would get stuck with raising taxes on both the ultra-wealthy and the middle class, as well as corporations.

What are the Republicans doing in the Big Beautiful Bill? They want to make the tax cuts permanent for the ultra-wealthy and corporations. And they want to renew the middle class tax cuts but have them expire in 2029, just in time for the next Democratic President to be stuck with the label of "raising taxes on the middle class". It also gives Republicans an issue to run on in the 2028 campaign: "If you elect Democrats, they will raise your taxes!".

The person calling this out is a Republican!

Budget hawks are saying this sets up a “tax cliff” in the legislation similar to the one Republicans are now trying to surmount, since most of the 2017 Trump tax cuts expire at the end of this year.

“There’s a total tax cliff in there. There’s about $1.5 trillion worth of taxes that expire in four years, five years, which means what? In five years, they’ll just keep them going. This is why we end up with the same problem,” Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) said last week.

“It is 100 percent a gimmick to have tax cuts that you’re putting in place for four or five years,” he added.
