The rap star was interviewed at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest convention by Erika Kirk, the widow of Charlie Kirk, about her newly found support for Trump — someone she had condemned in the past — and about her actions denouncing violence against Christians in Nigeria.

The Grammy-nominated rapper’s recent alignment with the Make America Great Again movement has caught some interest because of her past criticism of Trump even when the artist’s own political ideology had been difficult to pin down. But her appearance Sunday at the flagship event for the powerful conservative youth organization may shore up her status as a MAGA acolyte.

More than a dozen staffers at The Heritage Foundation are leaving the conservative think tank to join a nonprofit led by former Vice President Mike Pence as the embattled organization continues to reel from ongoing turmoil.

Advancing American Freedom — founded by Pence in 2021 “to defend liberty and advance policies that build a stronger America” — announced Monday that three senior officials who led the legal, economic and data teams at Heritage would be joining the group next year, along with several members of their teams.

The departures, first reported by The Wall Street Journal, mark the latest sign of upheaval at Heritage, which has seen dozens of staffers flee the organization since it became engulfed in a scandal involving Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes and the ongoing debate within the conservative movement over antisemitism.

I think the answer that is going to be to look at the donor list in their filings next year.

Pence was considered to be road kill after he didn't back Trump and pledge loyalty to MAGA. These guys in the think tanks get pretty nice salaries, so there's money coming from somewhere.

If the money moves to Advanced American Freedom, then it doesn't bode well for Heritage's dominance in Washington politics. My guess is that some of the billionaire extremist money that backs organizations like Bannon and TPUSA will stay with Heritage since the agenda to destroy the Federal bureaucracy is more allied with MAGA. I suspect Jewish donors and Wall Street donors will pull away from Heritage.

For the second time this year, a little-known company backed by Donald Trump Jr. has scored a major contract with the US Department of Defense.

The Financial Times reported on Wednesday that Vulcan Elements—a tiny startup of 30 employees that specializes in producing rare-earth magnets used in drones, radars, and other pieces of military equipment—has scored a $620 million loan from the Pentagon as part of “a $1.4 billion deal to increase the supply of magnets for industries alongside partner ReElement Technologies.”
