And She's Outta Here!

I like Rosie, but I knew her stay at the View would be short-lived given her notorious comments. So, not surprised here.

Stupid for thinking it was a government conspiracy? Okay, I don't care for the whole 9/11 crap, but do you honestly believe governments have never tried to find reasons to pick a war?

Manipulating it to suit her politics? Uh, okay. Even though that makes no sense at all. Questioning, and not just accepting whatever's being fed to your mouth, is not "manipulating to suit politics". It isn't unreasonable to say the building looks like it collapsed upon itself. That's what it looked like. And when you're having debates/discussions, you don't have room to make weak arguments. Either you stand with one point or you don't. You don't hesitate and try to stand on the fence on an issue, and that's what Rosie did not do (thank God). She took a stand and challenged what was there.

yes STUPID quite frankly CRAZY for thinking the government is behind 9/11. That's what I said. I didn't say she was crazy for saying at some point in human history a government has gone to war without reason. Nor did I imply that. I said she was CRAZY and IGNORANT for implying the government was behind 9/11. I question the government all the time. I'm doing it perpetually. But to seriously believe that the US government said some part in causing 9/11 is just stupid.

Perhaps your right about her not being insensitive. If she does honestly believe that's what happened than she's not "twisting" anything she's just wrong. But if she doesn't believe it and is just going to such extremes for the sake of speaking against the administration than that's surely insensitive.

Long story short: She's moved past the point of credible liberal and into the arena of eccentric nutcase. She doesn't represent liberals or gays well she just makes inflammatory remarks about everyone and everything. And one thing she shares with O'Reily is I don't by her outrage. It's too much too often. It says more ratings, than credible system of beliefs.

Not apathetic...I'm a government teacher and earned a M.A. in political science.

I didn't call you apathetic I said the whole avoidance mentality of America has and continues to breed apathy and that, that's sad. And I still believe it.

Uhm. I didn't call you crazy, and I know what you said. ;) No need to reiterate.

But, why is it stupid to think the government could've been behind it?

I didn't say you called me crazy. I said she was crazy. And September 11 was one of the most tragic days in US history, if you honestly think the government would do that to itself your just stupid and far to into conspiracy.
