This is the first Christmas in 37 years that I/we will be petless and I can totally argue it both ways but being able to put the ornaments where you want, not worrying about the tablecloth draping too low, not being concerned if you left any chocolate out etc etc etc are things I'd totally forgotten about.
 
Has your new pussy cat gone out in the snow yet? One of the joys of domestic animals is their reaction when they see snow for the first time.
