Just got an android Samsung Moment. I love this platform. Anyone else out there running this on their mobiles? The gay hookup app encountr is cool, like the iphone grindr, but not many guys yet. Whats your favorite apps?
 
Wheres My Droid is pretty cool. If you lose your phone, just have someone text the password to your phone and it will ring (even when on silent mode)
 
I'm getting an HTC Incredible this Thursday and cannot wait. It's a huge upgrade from my currrent phone, which doesn't do anything other than talk or text. I think I'm most excited about the fact that I'll be able to use it as a turn by turn navigation system.
 
Anyone have Motorola CLIQ/DEXT?
I'm thinking about getting one this week. i hear they are updating to 2.1 of the Android OS sometime, so I say thats a plus.
Fuck Canada, we get all the new phones so late!

it's kinda sad that people now expect an OS to be network dependent. well done apple :roll:
 
I just today bought a used Android G1 phone at a computer show. The previous owner had installed an app called "Dildroid." (You stroke the robot, and he grows and vibrates).

I just got a Motorola Milestone (android) I fricking love it more than my HTCD2 Windows OS.

I'm loving the droid! Battery life is better than my HTC phone.

My provider is releasing the HTC Legend early next month, so i'm waiting for it to come out! I'm excited! Maybe too excited?
 
I have a droid, and I must say, it is flipping awesome!
 
I have the Motorola Droid -- and REALLY like it...

I STILL wish I had an apple iPhone though.... Oh well, Verizon doesn't sell them yet...

The MAIN problem with the android system -- is that it seems like all the phones use different versions and don't automatically update their OS when the updates are available...

Its a nightmare for the APP programmers -- and SUCKS for the users that have the HTC Eris (which I accidentally bought before trading it for the Motorola) because all the apps don't work on the phones without the upgrades...

I wish I had the apple iPhone -- because I haven't been able to figure out how to get my audiobooks from audible.com onto my droid -- I know its possible if I can ever figure out the convoluted process that involves 2 different programs... :(

Overall -- I think the droid is pretty good though -- so far...
