Unlike the trailer for "The Da Vinci code", this one looks more dramatic and dynamic, and it left me wanting for more.

Not to be a dick, but "Angels & Demons" is technically a prequel to "Da Vinci Code."

That being said, I was kind of underwhelmed by "The Da Vinci Code". I was surprised to see Tom Hanks cast as Langdon, just doesn't fit for me. I am a big fan of Stellan Skaarsgard and who doesn't like Ewan McGregor? The books are amazing, so it's hard to recreate that to everyone's liking and expectations.

Either way, I am sure it will be an entertaining show.

I never read either of the books, but I enjoyed the movie more than I thought I would. I'm curious if they'll acknowledge that this takes place before The Davinci Code.

Don't worry. It's OK. :D

I'm aware that "Angels & Demons" came out before "The Da Vinci Code". But according to the producers (one of them is Dan Brown, the man that started it all) the screen story was developed as a sequel, instead of a prequel. In fact, some of the events that happened in "The Da Vinci Code" will be mention in "Angels & Demons" in order to make that very clear to the audiences.

Yeah, I figured that's what was happening. Guess we'll see how this one turns out. I actually enjoyed this book much more that Da Vincie code, so hopefully the movie will be better as well.

Was Dan Brown involved in making The Da Vinci Code at all? Maybe that will be the difference.

He was the executive producer of "The Da Vinci Code".

When he sold the rights of his novel to Columbia Pictures, his first demand was to have as much control as possible over the film, and when they granted that petition, he agreed plus six million dollars.

*sigh* if only they had done that a few thousand years ago... we'd be short quite a few wars. meh, dreaming doesn't make it true.

Anyways, it should be good. Looks like there's more action then in the first movie.

OMG Yes! Finally!!!! This book was so amazingly good, and the trailer looks the same!!!! I can't wait for next May!
