And that looks quite a lot like the other Malamute who raised me, the daughter of the first one.
She was quite a pistol. And she always behaved better for me than for my mother, which made me love her even more.

Not only is that adorable and beautiful, but I'm now fighting the urge to go through a bunch of online tulip bulb catalogs to figure out what variety that is. I don't recognize it, and I would totally have planted it.

My (straight) brother once gave me one of my favorite Christmas tree ornaments: two cardinals, in profile, facing each other and touching beaks. Kissing.

They're both red.

(Yes, my brother knew what he was doing. The entertaining part is that the company that made the ornament obviously did not.)
