I just popped the question to my partner of 10 years, we celebrated out 10th anniversary on March 6th and decided it was the right moment to get married. It's been legal in Canada since July of 2005 but we really didn't want to jump on the bandwagon at that time. I wanted it to be more meaningful than just a political or human right issue. He said yes and so we'll exchange vows on July 18, 2009.
