Very few polls ask a question, cover all the answers and ASK for why you voted the way you did!

i believe this is logical as well. if the "system" knows then someone else CAN know if they get to looking. whether mods can find out is another question. I suspect the mods can, but admins probably can.

i actually don't care if the admins can or not. it's just not something i'm concerned about.
 
the method described by mikoangelo is technically possible (for every board/vote system that is user based). but as he said himself - you need database acces for that. mods don't have that, most admins don't have that. there are like 3-4 people who have that. two being jd and seth, and the rest being the programmer and maybe some other tech guy - who don't really care much about the content/posts of this website ;)

He's absolutely right. Anything you post online that's held in a database can be traced back to you. This site is no different. However, only the site owners and our programmers have access, and you may or may not believe this, but we've never bothered to research these things. LOL We have enough trouble keeping up with the posts themselves.

Anyway, anyone associated with the membership, including mods and admins like Corny, have no access to the database servers. All of their work is done through an interface that comes with this forum software, and the permissions are tightly controlled.
 
I voted yes,and trust Seth ,JD,and the programmers respect our opinions and privacy and do not care to compromise our privacy in any way.I believe they have too much respect for themselves ,this site,and for all the members of JUB to compromise our privacy and their integrity.

For me ... I have NO Concern whether, or not, the Mods, and Admins, have access to my Poll answers ... or even the contents of my PM's!

I have come to TRUST the Intentions of JD, Seth, and Everyone Else administering JUB!! THIS is one of the most Amazing, Concerned, Entertaining, and THOUGHTFUL, places I've EVER found on the Web!!! No Holds Barred!!! :wow:

Perhaps I'm being totally naive! But ... through two years ... or, however long it's been ... of my experiences "Here" ... I have NEVER felt uneasy about how ANY of my responses may be taken, or used! IF information is being collected (and I'd be surprised, even disappointed, if it wasn't ... for the benefit of the functioning of this site) I'm certain it is being done Anonymously, as a General concern for JUB's continued success! Both perceptually, and from a business sense!

And, since I am very interested in seeing JUB succeed on ALL counts, I have NO concerns, other than that the information gleaned, is used for furthering JUB's survival and viablility!! (!)

I am of the persuasion that JUB is, indeed, UNIQUE, among the So Many "Offerings" Out There! I really do think that JUB is ONE of so many! (group)

I just assume everything I post is accesible. If there is something I don't want known I don't post it.

Now, I wouldn't want the rest of the world seeing some of the stuff I post here, but the JUB community is a ok.
