She is being replaced by another Democrat. It is refreshing to see a political party capable of cleaning it's own house.

Have the Republicans done anything yet about John Ensign, the Pentecostal International Church of the Foursquare Gospel member that likes to fool around outside of marriage and make hush payments to his girlfriend's family? The same John ensign that called on Bill Clinton to resign?

The party had nothing to do with her defeat, though they may have secretly wished for it. The voters booted her, and not all them consider themselves Democrats. In Michigan you can vote in either primary without declaring your affiliation.
