another gay movie comments?

Meh. I saw it in a theater in West Hollywood. The audience was killing themselves laughing. I loved how they made fun of just about every gay stereotype and every silly thing that gay people do. It was totally absurd and stupid and took the piss out of everything.. My favorite was the EXTREMELY gay guy who kept going on about how he was "bisexual" and dating that blind girl.. becuase any girl who would think he was straight would have to be blind.

And that scene on the toilet was just too funny.

Another Gay Movie was by far the funniest movie I saw last year. Just like Jasun said, it took all the gay stereotypes and showed how ridiculous they are. It helps if you've seen the movies they are doing a parody of. A lot of the straight teen movies from the 80's, like The Last American Virgin. The American Pie series. But also the recent slew of gay teen movies, like Edge of 17. The coming out scene is a direct parody of the coming out scene in Edge of 17, and the same actress played the mom, so it was even funnier seeing her take that scene to the extreme.

I really can't understand the negative comments. Don't you guys have a sense of fun?

I thought the movie was hilarious.

On the flip side I can't understand the positive comments. I will agree there was some very nice skin on display.

Maybe you have to live in West Hollywood or at least be familiar with it to get those jokes. But it really did lampoon all those WeHo types pretty well. and it made fun of every gay stereotype and still managed to have the two most regular guys fall in love and get together at the end.. I mean, how can you not love that?

Bring the husband and kids - good, clean fun for the whole family.
