There are idiots everywhere in every state. There is no reason to judge all people from Alabama by the actions of a few. I find all of your comments to be rude and childish.
I have a college degree and earn over 60,000 a year, so yes we do go further than grade 5 in Alabama. We actually have some of the best colleges and hospitals in Alabama. People from all over the world attend college in Alabama at well regarded colleges like The University Of Alabama, UAB, Birmingham Southern, and Samford to name just a few.
Many famous and important people have come to UAB Hospital for it's reputation of excellence in the field of Medicine. Here are just a few FACTS about UAB Hospital in Birmingham Alabama:
1. The 2005-2006 list of "Best Doctors in America" includes 234 UAB physicians.
2. UAB Hospital received a 2005-2006 Consumer Choice Award from the National Research Corporation (NRC). It is among just 207 of 3,000 hospitals, nationally, to receive the recognition.
3. Seven UAB Hospital specialty programs are among the nation’s top 50 — five of those are in the top 25. UAB Hospital was one of only 176 hospitals, or about 3 percent of U.S. institutions studied to make the list.
That's just the tip of the iceberg of what the state of Alabama has to offer. So yeah, I guess it would be no big deal if we got nuked and all of this knowledge and excellence was lost.
