I agree on the direct injection. Unfortunately, we won't see that much of it here in it's best form (stratified combustion) like a diesel, but with spark ignition, and gasoline or ethanol for fuel. Not until something changes, anyway, due to the communistic, idiotic, overbearing EPA. The U.S. government cars not about the environment, or fuel economy, it's all about money, and power, and oppression...
You know I have ALWAYS wondered about ethanol DI [or at least E85] I mean it would burn cleaner and easily make up for the power that is lost as compared to when you use gasoline.
