Are there any gay Dead Heads here?? Fans of the Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia Band etc., surely I can't be the only one? (!)

One can only hope that you are.

Shocking from someone that says he enjoys waking and baking :p

I'm a gay hippie at heart!

"Uncle John's Band" by the Grateful Dead is one of my most favorite songs by them, if I absolutely had to pick one.

I also love The String Cheese Incident. I've seen them live about six or seven times, and have had a blast at every concert I attended. Alas, they are no longer touring :(

Phish, Widespread Panic, Yonder Mountain String Band - love them all!!! :luv:

I could talk about jam bands, as is the popular term nowadays, all day long... !oops!

^ This is true.

And, might I add, Colorado has always been very "kind" to me. Especially at Red Rocks! (!)

Which, imho, is the best venue I've ever been to in the country. The canyon walls....will never be the same again! :D

Yep...I like them too.. American Beauty is my favorite album. I've just recently become aware of a band that is sort of "Dead"like. "My Morning Jacket". really good band. They are not really new, just new to me, which can always be good. Lots of great past catalogue.

We aim to please. I LOVE CO!

It really does have the best trees ever.... ;)

God I miss Denver. What a fantastic and beautiful city. I need to return ASAP. It's been about 2 years. :(

It's just a Cowtown.

Right. Just like people think St. Louis is a cowtown as well ;)

If Denver's a cowtown, then I guess I like cowtowns! :D

(and I apologize jking for the somewhat irrelevant posts in your thread !oops!)

Although, if you're talking about hippies, Denver has to be included imho (!)
