Any Google Chromecast users?

Hi,
I am considering getting Google Chromecast in order to be able to view Youtube videos and Hulu videos on my tv. I was wondering if there are any users who would let me know if the product worked well and you were happy with it. Thanks!

I bought one around Christmas time and thought it worked well. All my Blu Ray players seem to have smart functions nowdays and we have satellite too so I really don't use the Chromecast but when I installed it I was fairly impressed.

I bought a stand alone monitor and attached it to my laptop for more convenient viewing. It duplicates everything on my computer.

I have a Chromecast and there is nothing that comes with it that gives you a clue how to use it. I picked up some things by trial and error. I haven't used it in awhile. I was disillusioned with the limited number of apps that were available for it. I'm gonna check out the new Amazon product, knowing that if anyone can possibly be worse at customer service that Google, it would be Amazon.

Friend of mine has one and I thought it was great. I connected my tablet to her wireless and there it was. I could send streaming Netflix or Youtubes to her TV with absolutely no hassle or fuss. I have no idea what else it can do, but for $40, how can you go wrong?

I got one for Christmas. I'm playing around with it a little bit but haven't had a whole lot of time yet. I have a smart TV so I won't use it for Netflix but there are a bunch of other broadcasts. I am disappointed that it only operates on the 2.4 Ghz channel however. The 5 Ghz channel is far more stable for video. But so far it has worked pretty well.

I have one, it's pretty good for what it is. Apps that have dedicated casting abilities run perfectly (netflix, google play music, youtube, hulu, and HBO go are the ones I use), but my biggest problem is that casting from my Nexus 5 or casting from a tab causes crazy amounts of lag on the device making it almost unusable if you're trying to watch any videos. If you are using it for apps made to cast, definitely worth it, but other than that, you'd be better off getting an Apple TV or Amazon's new stick.
