Even though I'm still enjoying the wings win on June 4th, I still can't wait for a new season. If it weren't for (ww) Phelps (ww) I would have go crazy along time ago. Anyway just curious if there is anyone else out there just dreaming of hockey?

I am going crazy waiting for the regular season to start, but I dont see Hockey season as ever ending. We have the awards ceremonies, Draft day, free agency day, prospect camp, rookie camp, training camp etc etc. However, when I really start to get excited is the first pre-season game... and this year it is on my birthday :D

Yeah! It's gonna be an interesting year. I'm in Philadelphia and we know the Flyers will be strong, even without Umberger. I was telling everyone all spring that the Red Wings were gonna win it all, since I saw them last Easter. We'll see which gamees I go to...and since I try to hit a new NHL arena each year, I wonder where it'll be? (Last year was Dallas AND Columbus.)
 
I'm so ready for the season to start! Going to the Blues v Kings pre-season game at Sprint Center 9/22 (for my birthday). All excited. :D
 
Man, it was good to see hockey again. Sat right next to the penalty box. Jarret Stoll came to visit 4 or 5 times.

I was a little pissed that the big name Blues weren't there. No Tkachuk, Hinote, Legacy, Boyes, McDonald. But did I mention Jarret Stoll? He's one sexy motherfucker!

Game was cool. I've missed hockey more than I realized, I guess.
 
I am going to the game tomorrow, and I will be at the second home game against the Avs... I could not get the home opener because I am busy then :cry:

You're right, Cammalleri is hot...but he wasn't sitting across the plex from me. If we wanna talk hotties, we have to remember Lupul, Budaj, Toskala, Spezza, Penner, Redden, etc., etc.

...anyways. The game was against the Panthers. The next time we play against the Avs will be in Calgary on Oct 14th.

Flames were obliterated by them on Thursday. Ugh.

Their quest for revenge begins in 4 hours. Expect a hard hitting, fight filled contest tonight.
 
What the fuck happened to Vesa Toskala and the Leafs tonite?! I started the afternoon 8-1-2 in my fantasy league and sitting at 4-3-3 right now.
 
The question is, why would you pick the leafs goalie this season? You do realize the leafs may only win 20-25 games...

The Flames out-hit, out-chanced, and out-played the canucks, they were very physical, Jarome Iginla even threw a solid left jab at Mitchell knocking him to the ice - they scored 4 goals yet still the defence managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Frustrating as hell.

The Avs are going to face one angry and violent team on Tuesday.
 
I have more faith in Vesa than in the rest of the team, cAndId. The Avs need to get their shit together; their opening effort against Boston was humiliating.
 
The only way you can beat Detroit is by playing more defensive and physical than them, several good hits can knock them off their game.

It is so frustrating to see their puck possession game work so effectively. I cannot wait until Lidstrom retires and they get knocked down to our level.

The teams that I hate with a passion are the Canucks and Oilers.... for obvious reasons.
 
The oilers are underachieving and playing most of their games on the road, I think they will start to play better soon... unfortunately ;)
