Did anyone else see the intro special with the models. i was surprised at how comfortable with his sexuality Tyson is. He was really hands-on inspecting the guys' bodies. The only models I found attractive was the blonde guy who sorta looks like Gabriel Aubry who's married. I thinks he's bisexual or something too.

Well, if I am not mistaken, Tyson Beckford has done everything, except officially stating he's into men in the modeling world. I wonder if he ever did help Perry get his start in modeling; he wanted to have kids with Perry last season.
 
*sigh* Bronnie. The perfect couple that could never be.

Such a tragic love story.
 
I doubt there will be any Bronnie-style romance this time around. I really wouldnt want to see it with this group. The guys were much hotter last season. This time the only one I think is attractive is that one married guy. The gay guy has amazing eyes but that's it. And I feel like that androgynous one is stunt casting. it's like the year of the tranny. Every show is having transgendered people on and this one seems to be no different. He didnt say he was trans but he's obviously going for a woman effect.
 
I don't like how they did this season. It's not in almost real time like it was last year. It seems it was all taped well in advanced. That's what was so cool about this show to me before. Also the public doesnt vote on who comes home. It's all up to judges. It's pretty much like top model with guys and girls.

Most of the models are even less attractive than I originally thought. The guy are especially not great. I dont get all the fuss over Sandhurst I dont think he looks great and his skin is HORRIBLE. But Brendan is the worst. I also think they are trying to give him a sympathetic edit and tone down his homophobia. He seemed so disgusted to be working with a guy.

none of the guys stuck out at all...like I didn't like any of their bodies...they were all sooooo skinny...I like me some skinny guys...but none of these ones. The married British guy...Johnathan I believe his name is...was the hottest one.

Yea that is the only hot one. I think he is bi too. I dont mind the nerdy virgin either. He prolly wont win but I'd like to see him stick around for a while. That is if I stick around. I might though because I really like Tyson and Jenny Shimizu.

Plus you're right. They are so skinny. I felt like last season they were slightly bigger and more proportionately skinny. They were skinny but still had an ass and some muscles. Most of these guys have no ass and a chest like a little boy.
 
Agreed, Johnathan is the hottest one. When are they going to cut his hair? He is looking really good in the ads with the red tank top. Gabriel is not too bad either.

And I also agree that Sandhurst isn't that hot. He's kinda plain. The girls are all pretty average. With the exception of Jordan, Mountaha, and Salome, the girls are forgettable.
 
Well...kind of boring first episode. I have a feeling that I won't be watching the whole season.

Jonathan is the only good looking guy there. Can't believe that Ken, the muscle dude, even made it onto the show. What a butter face.

Big disappointment in season 2 based on the premiere.

As stated, the men aren't all that hot. Agree that Jonathan is the best looking. Colin seems sweet. Gabriel is alright.

I miss the 'real(ish) time', too, and viewer voting. I suspect this was, in part, due to the women generally getting booted so quickly last time out. The audience, after all, is female and gay.

The judges, particularly the photographer, were bad....it was already tough enough to put up with Tyson last year...why couldn't they can him?

I hate all those silly voice overs of the models or "confessional" moments when all they're saying is "...I was worried about my walk, it was do or die, I didn't want to be eliminated..." BLAH, BLAH, BLAH...how many times do we have to hear the same comments?

And it was so cheesy how Tyson delivered the winner. He praised Ken, criticized Chris, and then told Ken that he was eliminated. I guess that was supposed to be a GASP moment after Tyson hands Ken the book. Whatever! That kind of exploitation and manipulation is why I don't care for American Idol. Don't waste my time toying with my or the contestant's emotions, just give us the winner, will ya?
 
I'm not crazy about the new models but I like the show because, at least, there are male models too. It was interesting.
 
I think Gabe is awfully cute...and that bulge he has in his pic in the glass box....yowzer!
