Melinda is amazing. And I'm glad she got a deal. But while she' gotten amazing reviews, her cd only sold 10,000 copies the first week; far less than Jordin did her first week. But then again, Melinda didn't have the publicity or money muscle behind her that Jordin had.

^I just saw Jordan's rendition of "Respect" on youtube and it was as awful as I thought it'd be. Bad dancing, bad vocals, that weird head-flick attitude thing that singers overuse.

Melinda is the shit, her voice rocks and her humility and nice personality makes the package that much better. I've heard clips of her album on cdnow.com and it sounds pretty good. It's a bit microwave but a throwback to 70s soul.

I love her cd. It's pretty much what I expected from her. I wish she could have the publicity that Lily Allen's getting now.

I knew she had a single out a couple weeks ago but didn't even know the CD existed til I looked at the most recent Billboard Top 200 chart and saw that it had debuted all the way down at something like #68 - she deserves better press. Is she performing on TV? I've heard nothing about her.

Melinda is one of my three favorite Idol contestants of all time. She has such an amazing voice with such control she blows away just about anyone else who has ever been on Idol. It's so natural to her it's seemingly effortless, and she should've won her season.

I for one will be happy to pay to download her CD. I hope she gets the recognition in the industry she so rightfully deserves.

I think she's gotten the critics on her side, it's just a matter of getting the general public on her side.

I'll be buying her cd next Thursday (payday!!). I may buy a few.

Well, I've watched a few videos of her idol performances and she has a great voice. As for her album, I've listen to clips off iTunes and it sounds decent.

I'm really enjoying Melinda's album. I think she picked great songs and made them sound even better. Her take on Aretha Franklin's "Wonderful" is absolutely breathtaking.

I think she's amazing. I've met her at the Idol concert here in Fort Lauderdale 2 years ago, so humble and modest, a great performer!
