I totally agree and that's the way I approached it. He got it in his head that it was different. I had to walk away. He was divorced and of course I'm married. It was a 40 year friendship. Sad state of affairs. In my mind it was nothing more than FWB. There's a lot more to it but that's it in a nutshell. The big factor I feel was jealousy on his part. That alone will destroy any relationship.
