Any SailorMoon Fans?

Yep, I am, have some posters, most of the dvds, the live action series on my computer, and all the music I could find archived on dvd.

She still holds a soft spot till this day. I wish they'd do something new but good with her character. Toei knows they have a considerable force there they can mine but they won't do anything with the property right now.

Yep used to watch it all the time, though I know the series goes on, but I only watch to the point of where the Engish dub ends...

The dub actually eventually went on to air up to the SuperS season. The Stars season was only dubbed and released on DVD apparently...

I would assume at any video/dvd store. If you have an anime shop, I'd check that out too...or even online. The possibilities are endless.

Was it Neptune and Uranus that were the lesbians? I remember watching it when I was younger when it was on CN, and I remember there was something in Japan where two of the sailors were lesbians, and there were two gay villains.

There's alot of gay, lesbian, transgendered, bisexual characters in Sailor Moon. Hell, even Sailor Moon herself almost fell in love with StarFighter(who was female in every scene in the manga and was confirmed to be a lesbian along with the other starlights). And Tuxedo Mask had a friendship with a young alien when he was young but it was only one sided.

This is true. In the manga, Naoko makes a lot of the female relationships ambiguously sexual and doesn't really hold to gender barriers for kisses and such.

In the manga, Kunzite and Zoicite were both heterosexual and involved with the Sailor Senshi back in their previous lives. In the anime, they were supposed to be gay, and the English dub made Zoicite into a woman.

Uranus and Neptune are lesbians in both manga and anime, again, turned into "cousins" in the English dub. In the anime, they frequently make off-handed sexual comments toward one another like "There are much more fun things to do when you're an adult," or " 'Uranus, when did you get so heavy? Have you been eating too many desserts?' "I've never heard you complain about it before...' "

The Amazon Trio were also ambiguously gendered, having male upper bodies, but wearing "female" clothes and in the manga, shown seducing the Sailor Senshi. In the anime, Fisheye was "male" but often dressed as a female civilian and had an infatuation with Mamoru.

There several other things she did in her manga, like the closeness between several girls like Minako and Rei, and the female "ghost" who possesses Rei and makes her kiss all these girls, Venus included.

Then there's all that business with the Starlights and Fighter looking like Mamoru.

Tons of non-het stuff flying around.

The writer Naoko takeuchi give gay breath in all of her comics.
A lot of comic in Japan does the same thing. it was like a trend there.

Anyway I still remember back then when I was in highschool. It was summer camp. But they have a TV at the dining room.
Sailor moon was playing on local TV.
Everybody search for me for a soccer game and they caught me watching sailor moon. LoL.

After that everybody is so curious ...

i love the show, i have a question that have been bother me forever, who is the most powerful scouts? moon, satrun, pluto or galaxia

That's a debate, but I would say it is ultimately Sailormoon.

So here's the line up:

Sailorpluto: Sailorpluto is arguably the one with one of the more powerful abilities. She can stop time for something like 4 or 5 minutes, but the drawback is that it will kill her if she does. So yeah, she's powerful, but the one thing that makes her so formidable would give her enemy an automatic win if she was by herself because her opponent would only have to wait 4 or 5 minutes before he/she/it would be unfrozen. Pluto would only give someone an upper hand if someone else was there to finish off the baddie while she died.

Sailoraturn: Saturn is supposed to be one of the ultimate senshi...in the solar system, not the universe. She has the ability to destroy a planet, which is her big bad power. However, Galaxia has been shown to be able to destroy planets and entire civilizations across the galaxy, so...and Saturn has the conscience to keep her back.

Galaxia: Galaxia is purportedly the most formidable senshi in the galaxy and was given the title by Kakyuu "Senshi of Death" (which was Saturn's title until she became "good" and became the "Senshi of Silence"). She was shown in the manga to destroy entire planets with the flick of a finger and she has no morality when she's bad. She can kill the other senshi easily and her Sailor Animamates who are weaker than her can kill the inner senshi easily, too.

Moon: However, as we know, Sailormoon beats her. It takes a lot, but Usagi's Silver Crystal is supposed to be the crystal that grants life, while Galaxia's Sapphire Crystal is supposed to destroy life. Because Usagi has that crystal, Galaxia wants to kill her so she can use both to make her own Shadow Galactica domain. While Sailormoon's abilities can destroy the Sailor AnimaMates (Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss), it can't stop the AnimaMate Inner and Outer Senshi (AnimaMate Venus deflects it easily, calling it "a soft breeze"). However, Sailormoon's Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss can and does kill the AnimaMate Inners and Outers. When she fights Galaxia, however, it seems that they're evenly matched. The combined planetary attack by the Outer and Inner AnimaMates destroys her Eternal Tier (only for her to recreate it with the Silver Crystal) and in the anime, Galaxia is able to cut it in half with her sword, effectively destroying it.

But, in the end, Usagi's selflessness and love are her apparent strongest weapons as they allow her to utilize the Sailor Crystals. In the anime, this purifies Galaxia and dissolves Chaos into the universe where it should be. In the manga, the ability to use all of the Sailor Crystals is called Lambda Power and is used to destroy Chaos and reset the Star Cauldron. Being able to use Lambda Power defines "Sailor Cosmos." So technically Sailor Cosmos is the most powerful senshi, and she's what Sailormoon can become.

Other characters that showed up in the Manga that were good were the two characters Phobos and Deimos. Not sure if they were senshi per-se... but more like handmaidens to Mars in the Super S manga.

Also spirit that possessed Mars was either Barbara S. or D. Sire. I forget which off the top of my head.

Loved Sailormoon.. used to be part of the Sailormoon Universe BBTS way back in the day.

They aren't, but they do have some kind of "Sailor Crystal" and they were apparently "hand chosen" by Princess Mars.

i love them, my childhood memory. i used to collect the comics books of sailor moon, still need 2 more to complete.
i loved them so much, my favorite is Jupiter.

First, Pluto has three taboos that Queen Serenity informed her of, but it's never stated whether these were handed down by her or if it's only because her position as Keeper and Guardian of the Gates of Time requires these things.

Basically, the three taboos are that 1) She must never leave her post at the Gate of Time, 2) No one may be allowed travel through time, and the gravest one 3) She must never stop time.

There's no real reason for the rules, they're just there. Otherwise, I imagine it could be abused to no end. Stopping time would make Pluto the most powerful person in the world.

As for Saturn, being the Senshi of Silence isn't literal. It's just that as her position as the destroyer, it's more of a figurative quality. So she doesn't wish people out of existence, but she does have somewhat special attacks like the Silence Wall.
