I'm currently in Europe and will be in Rome for about two weeks soon. Does anyone here know of any good gay places to go - clubs, bars, lounges, etc? It can be sleazy, trendy, or just a nice place to hang out. I'm in my 20s.
I'm going through some websites and I'm totally lost! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Not many guys on these boards travel much, it seems.

It's still open, but they don't hold games there any more. Too expensive to feed the lions these days, I suppose.

it's surprising how little information there is through google on gay places in rome. there should be one specific, regularly updated website for gay travellers to find various gay places/pubs/clubs they can go to. *for anywhere in the world).
 
Be REALLY CAREFUL when you will be in Rome or any Italian city.
In the last months homophobia grew up a lot in italy, every week there is someone attacked from homophobic groups.

And remember that the italian parliament has just said "no" to a law against homophobia, so the police will not protect you as you may wish.
