I had an experience in college where my roommate and I were talking about what experiences we had had with women and how often we jo and that both of us were horny. After talking like this a few nights, we somehow talked ourselves into showing eachother's dicks and jacking off in front of eachother a few times I guess to compare or something and since we would be living in the same room anyway.

I am not out to anyone and not really anyone suspects that I am attracted to guys - I'm a masculine regular guy and have had girlfriends. However, since I am not out, my job culture would definitely not accept me coming out, and I'm not into feminine/gay guys, it is impossible to meet anyone besides online people which i don't do often b/c of my need to be discreet and safe.

It seemed like when I was younger and was having sleepovers with friends or rooming with people in college it was easier to talk with friends about sex or share a bed b/c you only had one and people got too drunk, etc. but now that I am grown up (29) and live by myself all of those avenues are not possible. Any ideas for ways to meet straight/masculine guys? Any good websites that have these guys on it?

None of my friends really get totally drunk and there would never be an excuse to crash at their place or mine - any other ideas like gym or something? I'm just feeling pretty lonely b/c I am a workaholic and don't get any interaction (even completely platonic) since I live alone.

yeah you are in the right place ,:D and you've made the first step , dont be shy to look around and send a few P.M. s to people who fit what you are looking for ( you can read all their posts and see what their attitude is ) with a bit of luck you may find someone in your area , i'd get away from the idea of waiting for your friends to get drunk. just put it out there and be real about what it is you are looking for :D

are there any other good websites? how do i find people by their location on here?

edit: i did a member search on here and there are only 6 people in my state and no one near my city :(

Have you tried going to a bar or a club, or is that not discreet enough for your situation? Chances are, you'll find some people like you there. And if you somehow run into someone who you know there, well, there's a reason both of you are there.

i'm attracted to other masculine/straight/bi/curious type guys that are similar to myself so wouldn't assume those guys would be found at a gay club since that's not my scene either. it seems like there are extremely closeted guys that just like me need discretion but the people online and at clubs in my town are very overtly gay and hook up with tons of people which I don't want.

^- I'll tell ya right now man. I used to think that exact thing. Went to the Castro in San Francisco back in August and got really confused because a lot of the people in the clubs looked like people I would just see on the street in my home town

I know its dumb but seeing as I've never had any gay friends and have lived in a very conservative upbringing I was under the opinion "gay people would be fem/look different"

When they didn't it kinda blew my mind that not all gay guys are as camp as Kurt Hummel ;)

Which is nice because I tend towards the more masculine guys myself

I'm not lumping all gay guys at a club into one stereotype, but just feel like i would totally be a fish out of water there. i was at a restaurant near a club once and a group of guys came in from the club and they were wearing leather, acting like they were at a pride parade (not just people that happened to be gay at a restaurant) and were very aggressive and flamboyant and that is a turn-off for me.

i guess i'll try a club once, would just be weird going by myself just like it would be going to a regular bar.

I forgot to say that if you've ever been to a bar or a club, there are actually a lot more "regular" type gay/bi guys there than you'd think. I blame the media for making it seem as if every gay bar/club consists of only flamboyant twinks and queens. If there's a gay sports bar in your area, you might want to look into that as well.

I donno if your as lucky as i have ended up being but a lot of my straight friends (both guys and girls) volunteered to go with me as support and to be that confidence/comfort factor

I'd say if you can, bring a guy who's comfortable with his sexuality and would be complimented by a guy hitting on him rather than offended. When I brought one of my friends who's a girl I guess people thought I was straight or something.

And to be honest, clubs ended up not being what I was into because I wasn't up for casual sex and meeting a guy at a club for something more just didn't seem to be what they were looking for. But there were about a 4th manly, a 4th fem and the other half somewhere in between.

Watch Queer as Folk. Most episodes on youtube. Honestly a club is more like that than the image you have in your head. They're awesome :)

literally you explain my exact life in your post XD sucks to be us right? it seems like the curious, bi, or gay manly guys are spread across the world with at least a 50 mile radius between them.
