However, earlier this year there was a find in Guatemala - a much more extensive Mayan Calendar was found that is good for at least another 7,000 years. So, fear not, we're here for the duration.

Yeah that's what I heard that they found another calendar. Which kinda sucks because I personally was hoping that the 2012 doomsday thing was right. Why? some may ask. Well because I wouldn't really give A shit if the world did come to an end, and if the planet was destroyed, and everybody did die. This world is so mean, and cruel anyways. As A matter of fact, if I learned that an asteroid was gonna hit the earth, and everybody was gonna die I wouldn't care. I would welcome it with open arms. Fuck it.

I love being alive, I chose a few years ago to live accordingly to what I feel and not how the others feel or expect from me, but I agree with you, at some point, to appreciate life we have to shut the doors to that rotten world outside, and I wouldn't mind at some point seeing that world collapse, so many good things around us and people always f*ck up everything.

I've had the thought cross my mind that, what I fear most (by far) about dying, is that I will leave some people "stranded" or screwed who were depending on me, and I'd exit without having resolved some very important things, etc. In this scenario that problem certainly wouldn't exist.

I was just sayin'...though I'm not even one-millionth-of-a-% convinced that December 21 is going to be any different than any other ordinary day, other than some strange things that may happen out of purely statistical chance.
