i just got the dvd. i thought it was genius. it was hysterical. and wentworth miller from prison break played this recurring gay character adam he was so crazy but he was such a good actor in it. i think they cancelled it halfway through the second season.
 
Was Adam Rothchild-Ryan actually gay? I haven't seen the second season, but I know in the first it isn't really said, though you do get the overwhelming sense that even though the show tends to make him lean that way, he probably actually isn't. He uses EVERYONE to his advantage.

But for my money, I'll take Christopher Gorham, who played Harrison John. Super cute and he's currently on "Ugly Betty" playing Henry.

The show itself I loved, especially the constant caustic banter between Brooke and Sam.
 
I loved that show, I think it did actually get 2 full seasons. I missed a lot of the 2nd.
 
I heard the first season was great, but that it got cancelled because of a sophomore slump, where its second season sucked.
 
I loved that show, the first season was really good but they made a lot of changes during the second and it was cancelled.
 
Best character in a television show of all time : Mary Cherry for the win.

mary cherry was hilarious. i loved how she use to be mean to harrison and call him joe.
 
I loved Popular. I hate that the series ended with a cliffhanger.
 
I was *just* thinking about this show a couple of days ago. Yeah, it was good. I was thinking about looking for it on DVD...
 
God, that show was the fucking best! It was criminally underrated, but obviously it will live on forever in cult heaven!!!!
 
Yeah, second season was too preachy but I loved that show.
It was all about Nicole Julian and Mary Cherry.

OMG yes I love popular I also own both seasons on dvd, I just wish it could be brought back but alas I know it will never happen.
