I know you need Graham crackers and plain chocolate (milk chocolate?) and roasted marshmallows, but I'm not sure how to assemble them and I've never bothered to find out.

Anyone else as clueless about S'mores as I am?

I prefer the Pop-tart variety. No assembly required and they're not too shabby.

I've never had them either, and so I'm just as clueless as you are. I never liked marshmallows, and especially not roasted ones. I'm not big on sweets, even though I used to be a pastry chef at a restaurant in San Francisco.

I used to get the scouts and cubs to take one graham craker, then one march mellow, then two squares of milk chocolate then another graham cracker, heat up in oven or over low fire on tin foil and voila an wonderful taste sensation.

Never had 'em myself, but they're not much of a european thing. I've not seen a graham cracker in my life.

I've never heard of them before this thread. But they look scrumptious.

The "real" way to make a S'more, is to toast the marshmallow over a campfire (although my hubby has been known to use our gas range.) Place the crispy marshmallow between two graham crackers, with a piece of Hershey bar and enjoy. Best eaten, while sitting next to the fire, on a cool, crisp evening. ..|

Robbieadam,
It is a Girl Scout speciality here in the states.
But your picture should rescue gdsx in his assembly.
Wait to see if he invites any of us over to share the goodies.
Wonder if any Girl Scouts going door to door will come to the
rescue of our clueless s'more maker?
Fat chance?

I don't like graham crackers, so I don't eat them or make them.

Wow. I don't know what to say. It's always been my deep, dark secret that I've never had smores. That was something the cool kids got to do.

I always felt so ashamed and alone...
I love you guys!

ive seen smores and i guess know the ingredients i need to make it but i never actually did...

i rarely go camping and i NEVER had smores in any case

so... hmmz... :D

I like graham crackers, marshmallows & chocolate..just not all at the same time..too much sweet for me. lol

Oddly enough the only times Ive made smores was when I was high. First time was at my univeristy during 4/20. There was about 20-40 stoners gathered in a woodsy area we had a fort, and well somebody made smores. awesome.

The second time I went camping with a group of friends. We were celebrating one of my friends bday. I came prepared and well there was pot and munchies, and smores, yummy.
