Anyone dislike the gay underwear trend?

Is it just me or does anyone else like classic boxers or solid color or white FTL or Hanes type boxer briefs? I hate the new trend of "gay" type underwear (i.e. Aussiebaum sp?) that look like underroos, speedo type, or anything else that the average straight guy at the gym, for example, would not be caught dead in.

It's such a turn-off for me when a guy strips down and he's wearing some fruity looking underwear. (P.S. I'm gay, I'm using "fruity" intentionally and ironically please don't yell at me ).

However, to each his own. I'm sure there are a large percentage of guys that like the "fashion" underwear. Just curious to know how many other gay guys out there like the more classic look?

I wear briefs or boxer briefs from CK, FTL, or a few other name brands - but not the designer stuff. Mine are basic colored or with stripes. I agree that some of the expensive shorts look crazy but they're not for me. But to each his own...I'm sure there's guys out there that pay the price for the big designer shit.

Underwear is meant to support the boys and in gay world it is meant to show off the bulge and physique to attract suitors. Wearing boxers provide no support and covers way too much of the entire package.

I am surprised at the lack of comfortable underwear. I only have two pairs I really consider comfortable by Mundo Unico. Wish I could afford more. I don't care about style. I just love the pouch in the mundo unico that keeps everything separated so nicely. Wish I could find a cheaper brand that did the same. Most other underwear just pushes your cock and balls between your legs. I am being pinched as I write.

I prefer the more "interesting" underwear myself. I do most of my shopping at Body Aware on line. I feel sexy wearing it and love to see other guys wearing some frilly, lacy stuff, especially if their demeanor is more macho, the dichotomy of "girlie" underwear with mannish manners is such a turn on.
