Anyone else single at New Years?

I've dated a fair amount of guys since I started dating men...but I've never had a S.O. for New Years.
It would be great to kiss someone I cared about at midnight. I think the holiday is VERY overrated...but I can't help feeling depressed about being alone for it.
Anyone else single this time of year?

When I had a S.O. I missed my New Year's chance to be with friends...

I know that might sound selfish, but keep in mind that since he had nothing in common with my friends and me when we interact, he would have been bored...

AND he would have preferred me to ignore my friends which drove in from out of town to see me...

Oh well, at least I still have my friends for this New Years...And I would love to plant a kiss on them at midnight, but that's a whole different thread.
