Probably because the supporters are/were intended to be people who work in the porn industry. Is it a targeted marketing thing, or something?

"Oh, he likes feet. Let's show him ads about pinkey toes."

I thought those were the "Friend of JUB" category (or whatever it's called) - where the member's name shows up GREEN.

I can swear that I remember, shortly after joining 61 months ago, seeing a page which told me where all the online members were currently looking. That is well before I ever became a Supporter. Can Corny or anybody else vouch for this...when did it become no longer available to general members?

Though I have that perk [again] now, I haven't used it since that one time about five years ago.

If you don't want to be tracked, simply don't log in until you want to post something, and then log back out right after you post it. Then any supporter who wants to snoop on you will be limited to the same posting history everyone else has access to.

The supporters are really informants for Homeland Security, so...

Browse while you're logged out if you're worried. Unless the feature tracks IP addresses. Then it's bad.

Oooo, somebody tell me how to do that!

Seriously, even if I did know how to do it there's not enough time in the day to monitor what everyone else is reading and keep track myself at the same time... and I really don't care what you're reading anyway.

You click on their profile and look for where it says "last activity" under their avatar/above their signature.

And like frankfrank was saying, I believe every member has the "Who's Online" feature in Quick Links where you have a complete list of JUBbers and their current activity.

I agree though, it is kinda weird that other members are able to follow you around JUB w/o you knowing it. Once I learned about the tracking system on JUB, I just sign out when I'm reading threads and only sign back in when I'm ready to make a post.

Could care less. What's messed up is, anyone who has so much time on their hands that they spend hours tracking where people go on this site, really needs to get a life. Just sayin...

RE: "Sucks to be you then."

You really hit the nail on the head, Moe, as I coincidentally succumbed to the urge to suck myself off yesterday after thinking I had finally kicked this gay habit.

I don't get why it's a big deal? On other forums I've used, everyone has this ability.

I remember doing the same thing at one time. Dunno how I did it now, but i definately remember being able to see what forums people were looking at...

It's a bit creepy, yes, but not so much that I can be bothered to give a damn.

When I was a pure-blooded upper class Supporter, I remember using the function for my own enjoyment. Long time ago, I noticed this guy was viewing a thread with a hot vid for a very long time. I assumed he was jerking off. I stopped spying, checked to see if I have a life, I still didn't, so I went back to spying. A few minutes later he was viewing on how to get cum of his keyboard.

It was hilarious to me.

Now as a dirty peon, I miss those days.

That's it. I'm convening the League of Super Supporters.

This sounds like it should be in the fetish forum.

"Hung men and the super supporters they wear...and the men who love them"
