So for the past year, I’ve had a dark discoloration on my dick. I’m tested regularly and negative on everything so it’s not STD related. I honestly think it just came about from too much jerking off without lube. So I’m looking for creams to get rid of this little spot after realizing it wasn’t going to go away on its own. Anyone have an suggestions? Also, would a pic help?

Not really freckles. Just this one spot that I believe I got from rubbing my dick raw too much then not allowing to heal. More a discoloration than anything. D

You've circled the darkest of the patches but if you look to the left of that area, there are other areas that have pigment patches. You have very fair skin, so it's more noticeable that the skin on your penis is darker than the skin on your abdomen and legs.

The name of this condition is penile melanosis. It is harmless. It's caused by pigment depositing in the top layers of the skin. Masturbation can increase the amount of patches but it's more likely that this would occur because of the melanosis. It can also occur in the perianal area and the folds of the leg under the scrotum.

There's not really a bleaching cream that works well on this area. The penis (nor surprisingly) has very sensitive skin and most of the agents that work remove the top layers of the skin where the melanin is which can make the area more sensitive (in the way that a burn is more sensitive). Most of the exfoliating creams are designed for the face where it is easy to apply the cream evenly; on the penis, it's not that easy to apply it evenly and keep it where you want it to be.

If this is really bothering you, you can either see a dermatologist or check with an aethetician that does laser bleaching treatments. These are not cheap- the run about $150-$250 per session but you are more likely to get a better result with laser treatments.
