My friend dated a Thai. The Thai bf could not pronounced his name - so, he has to settle for whatever his Thai bf could call him - GOLF. : )

I (Dutch) had a relationship for more than 5 years with a Spanish guy. Cultural differences made our realationship a difficult one. The relationship gave me many good things but unfortunately also bad things...

We broke up 1 month ago.

Yes, an Australian one. Oh, and one from Yorkshire (that's foreign to me).
Oi! I'm moving back to Yorkshire - guess the War of the Roses is about to start again!! ;)

I've had an American bf, he was in the UK at one of the USAF air bases. It was strange to go on base as it was just like driving down the road and arriving in the States. From the money to the food - everything was American! The only difference was that we still drove on the left hand side of the road!

Oh and my Jubby Hubby is a cute lil super-hero from Texas! ;)

i have a thai boy friend and i love him so much too much and he loves me to

i had a lover who was foreign. actually i was the foreign one and after a while i forgot he had an accent or really that i had one. after that is was boyfriends as usual

My boy friend is Cuban; although he lives in the states now, he does not consider himself American (he has become a citizen).

Language barrier (sometimes), especially around family, but no love barrier.;)

I've 'dated' a few foreign guys...Japanese, Israeli, South African, Cuban, German as well as many Americans of various ethnicities.

Yes, too many to speak of but many of the latin american countries and some european and egyptian .

As an English speaking South African I've mostly dated Afrikaans boys, as was my last boyfriend. (There are still cultural differences between the 2 white groups).

I've also briefly dated a Coloured (mixed race) guy.

I guess I'd be foreign to most of you too :-)

I dated a guy from Columbia once.

(The country not the University ;) ).

His name was Carlos pronounced Car-low. *|* Talk about some "brown sugar!" Igh-Eeeeee! :p

I loved it when he use so say, "¡Te amo! ¡Deseo tu cuerpo!" :sex:

Good Stuff! :D

I know some Klingon!

I could recite love poetry to you and you can throw around the furniture!

Ahh... and they say romance is dead.

No, but I'd love to.

I'd love to have a UK boyfriend (anyone available??). I'm from South America, just in case you're interested

Yeah, practically most of the times.

At first, cultural barriers seemed like a bit of a problem. Yet, this was sorted out pretty quickly. If the two guys set their minds on having something work out, it most likely does.

Being multilingual and multicultural did not hurt in the first place either...

I'm from the US. MY current boyfriend is Cambodian. I have also dated men from Mexico, Cuba, Argentina, Brazil, South Africa, Egypt, and Korea.
