Anyone have The Clapper?

Every Christmas season the clapper commercials come on. Christmas without the clapper is not the same.

I have one, but I got sick of the light turning on and off whenever I played music, or made any noise at all.
After the novelty (quickly) wore off, I put it in a drawer, and it's been there for years.

No, we do have a clicker so we don't have to get up and go over to the light when we are sitting in our favorite spot, but we don't have the clapper because it is too finicky / unreliable.

^ Most of the time they're lazy, but they have their uses, such as for people with limited mobility, elderly people, for people with night time safety concerns, and so on.

^ that makes sense, one of my favourite parts of going to bed is memorising the obstacles of my messy room before I turn off the light and perform my dark ballet into bed haha. I imagine that might be harder for the elderly or disabled.

At first I thought the title was about STD.lol
