By hardcore, I mean bands like:
Minor Threat
Black Flag
Bad Brains
Cro-Mags
Integrity
Ten Yard Fight
Down to Nothing
American Nightmare
Blood For Blood
Ceremony
Cold World
Floorpunch
Gorilla Biscuits

Minor Threat, Black Flag, Bad Brains..20 years ago when they still existed as bands. Saw all of them at least once. Black Flag several times.Henry used to sweat real good....

Not really a huge fan, but I like the sort of music is spawned, so that's good. :)

You have good taste in music, wanna date? Haha. Joking aside, I enjoy: Black Flag, Circle Jerks, Minor Threat, AFI(older stuff), Agnostic Front, Sick of It All, Refused....

Most Precious Blood
Converge
Misery Signals
plus a bunch of Aussie Hardcore, too

Word, at least some people are into it. haha.

Converge is still a little weird for me. I do like a couple of their songs, like Homewrecker. Definitely wouldn't consider them hardcore, though. haha

Misery Signals, definitely more metalcore, but I still enjoy listening to them. They have some good stuff, no doubt.

I like hardcore as spice, not meat. In other words, sometimes I'll want to hear something harder than what I normally listen to. I love Black Flag and Minor Threat. But it usually only takes about five or six songs, and then I'm set to listen to something "lame" again. :)

Misery Signals is my all-time favorite band.

Ceremony and Blood For Blood are awesome.

As for other hardcore bands I like that aren't on your list (using the term "hardcore" loosely I guess, some metal-ish bands included):

Modern Life Is War
Shai Hulud
Give Up The Ghost
Set It Straight
Ion Dissonance
Graf Orlock (probably don't belong here - more "grind")
Have Heart
August Burns Red
Ignite

I also love DIY hardcore, such as: Pg. 99, Joshua Fit For Battle, etc.

Hardcore FTW!

the most hardcore i get is Rob Zombie....but I have heard some of Black Flag...not bad stuff.

I was hesitant to, and decided against adding Converge to my list. I consider them metalcore, and love them, however, they do have their moments where they sound like hardcore with hardly any metal. Lonewolves on their newest CD No Heroes is a prime example. That song is straight up hardcore in the same vain of Black Flack and such for the most part.

my thoughts on a Hardcore thread in a gay forum can be summed up in this one sitatuion: Once at 'The Beat' the only gay club in brisbane a Panic At The Disco song came on and all the fags were like OMG wats this??? this isn't generic gay dance music or mindless pop music or ugly rihanna? they were genuinely shocked LOL. it was so funny and they all left the dance floor. i'm like now you know how i feel, coz i hate electronic, trance, dance music ECT with a passion and i am forced to listen to it everytime i go clubbing!

but yeah i'm not very hardcore myself, but i like:

Enter Shikari
Death By Stereo
Bullet for my Valentine
The Agony Scene
I Killed the Prom Queen
As I Lay Dying
Bring Me The Horizon
Il Nino
Parkway Drive
Trivium

Minor Threat
26
G.B.H.
Subhumans
Gorilla Biscuits
The Germs
Zounds
Cruci-fucks
7 Seconds
Discharge
Bad Brains
Crass
Bad Religion
Descendents
The Exploited
Rudimentary Peni
Circle Jerks
Kid Dynamite
Minutemen
Flux of Pink Indians
Sun City Girls
Rites of Spring
(Yeah, some of it's straight edge but it's good stuff and it's all old but so am I)

I just discovered this thread, some good bands mentioned...

I'm not really interested in newer hardcore bands, but definitly the old bands

I'm from ny so I love all the cbgb nyhc bands, which I feel fortunate enough to have seen, sick of it all, cro-mags, gorilla biscuits, killing time, breakdown, straight ahead, as for more current bands my favorite is Modern Life Is War, and Kill your idols (long island!) though they ust broke up

as long as their not screaming at the top of their lungs in the music, like hawthorne heights

Hawthorne Heights isn't hardcore.
and shouldn't be mentioned in any legitimate musical discussion.
