Anyone know how to remove scars?

We've got something in New Zealand called Bio Oil that seems to help remove stretch marks and scars.

A relative of mine always promotes the shit out of it I'm surprised she hasn't been paid referral fees yet.

Although there was some big controversy about the 'ingredients' in Bio Oil that caused a stir so I dunno.

^ I think that might be the oil he was talking about being advertised on television. I believe it has green tea in it as well.

^ Oh, alright then. Other then Bio Oil I don't have any other suggestions Kenny, sorry.

Do you mind me asking where the scar's located and how you got it?

I have one that I'm really self-concious about and I've been trying this cream I saw on tv and it's been like four months and still no results.

If it's an old scar there is not much that a cream can do, it don't think. If you have money you can go to a dermatologist and they can recut the scarred area and stitch it back up with smaller stitches, or whatever they do they can make it almost not noticeable. Other than that try makeup.

It's a dramatic scar from my highschool days. It's on my wrist. That's what makes me so self-concious about it. I haven't comfortablely worn short sleeves since.

That sounds really expensive.

Go to a dermatologist and see if you can get it improved through the use of a laser.

Are they self-inflicted scars? If my questions are too personal sorry, I'll stop asking them.

Can you give us an indication of how much area the scars cover on your wrist?

Yeah and it covers a bit, it goes from the top of my wrist to almost half of my forearm. It's a thick scar too, which is why I never had too much faith in the cream, but still. I can't afford surgery and there has to be something I can do about it.

I've been thinking about this and now think that Tea Tree Oil was added to it.

Of course, I might be thinking of something else entirely.

Well, honey, you could always finish the job.

Awww, that was adorable!

With "betch" in your screen name and Paris Hitlon as your avatar. Wow...I guess you're trying to tell everyone what a bitch you are, huh?

Heck, I bet if I looked at your previous posts I find a whole bunch of you being a total "betch" huh? Well I'm not going to, because I was bored with you before I even clicked reply to this post. Hell the only reason I'm typing this is because I really enjoy reading my own shit.

Some advice though...get over the daddy or fatboy or picked on in highschool or incest or whatever little weirdo issues that you have and quit being such a dickhead. It really doesn't work out for you...despite what you obviously think, no one thinks that it's cute.

K then, bye, please don't negatively comment on my attempted suicide when I was a child again. It only makes you look bad.

Real classy. Which JUBBER are you come back to hide behind a new name and avatar? What a jerk of thing to say.

Kenny, I really don't know what you can do to remove a scar. I've got one on my head from brain surgery when I was 18, and that sucker will be there forever. I don't know that creams and lotions are going to do anything.

That's what I'm really worried about. I know on a basic level that oils and creams aren't going to work...but there has to be something, we do everything with technology these days.

I'm just really sick of being ashamed all the time of one mistake I made. There has to be something I can do.

Don't be ashamed of a one time mistake mate. We all do stupid things at various times in our lives. Without experiencing that particular situation you wouldn't be the man you are now. You made a mistake and you've obviously learned from it. Don't wear your scar as a punishment. Wear as a reminder of how far you've come.

Don't be insulted, but bullshit.

This kind of scar only gets met with the same response from people. It's always a mix of pity, fear, and judgement and I really don't even blame them. But that's the way it is and that's why I wear a jacket everywhere I go. I can't ride it as a sign of how far I've come, it's a scar from a slashed wrist. It's not a learning experience, it's a failed death attempt and most people can't and won't understand it. And they shouldn't. This isn't something I'm going to eventually gain pride over, this is something that unless I get rid of it, I'm going to be ever shamed.
