Anyone remember Monroe Land?

Ever since a few days ago I was getting flashbacks of the old, long gone site/magazine from Justin Monroe- known as Monroe Land, in particular the various photoshoots and models that were featured on it. As a huge sucker for punk/goth/emo overtones, it was one of the few sites that I actively followed till it closed in 2014, taking down the whole archive.

So I wanted to see if anyone happened to share my interests of this site or perhaps preserved some content from it (and sister site Trashy Tuesdays), since I think it deserves a lot more attention than it ever got.

I remember them too and wonder what happened to that site. They specialised in beautifully devised pics, imaginatively low-lit and with lots of butt shots. One of their favourite models - and one of mine too - was Milan Christopher, the hot black singer/model with a big bum who can be found being fucked by a friend on one of the free porn sites!

Monroe's 3-monthly subscription was pretty pricey at $49.95, though it did promise even more explicit pics than were viewable on their public site. A few of those "public" ones are as per the screen shots below. There were also what they called "hard-on videos of boys doing what men do best." I wish now I'd have forked out, as it would have been nice to have seen Milan Christopher in some x-rated vids, assuming he did any. Did you subscribe, DirtyKing69, as it would have been nice to know what these "hard-on" videos contained! ... Anyway, here's a selection from that now-extinct site ... and what a pity it's no longer around ... ...

I sadly never bothered to subscribe, as I never would imagine the site disappearing so suddenly. Shame too as the atmosphere of the photos were top notch and had lots and lots of character.
If I did know and notice the site would be killed off I would've forked over my cash to get everything archived (or at least the most that I could get).

Some of my favorite models on the site included Trevor Adams (his "Black Heart" cover photo image from the February 2012 issue was amazing.), Jordano Santoro, Dominik Rider, Steve Bobbio, JJ Phoenix, Ben Jamin Patterson, and Alex Minsky. The others I like don't have their names documented anywhere, like the big buff macho guy with the shaved short hair from the "Gods and Monsters" shoot.

Lucily, googling Monroe Land or Justin Monroe brings up a nice selection of pics from the old site, including Trevor Adams and Alex Minsky (pics below). I mentioned Milan Christopher but in those days he didn't do full frontals. My googling has revealed that he's slimmed down quite a bit since then, acquired some tattoos and has been photographed with a semi-boner. All we need from him now is a jerk-off video or two ... ... You get more hot shots when you google Trashy Tuesday XXX so feel free to look around ... ...

Nice! ... Apropos Trashy Tuesday ... I'm still intrigued by the reference to the "hot hard-on filled videos" on the right of the first screen shot below. The second one shows porn stars D.O. on the left and Adam Killian in the middle, so does this shot come from a video in which they get down to it, or is it just a posed still photo? I wonder if we have a JUB Tec here who knows? There are other such Trashy Tuesday pics which could have been lifted from porn vids but I guess if they were floating around somewhere we'd know about it by now ... ...

I'm looking to possibly start this thread up again since I lost a lot of the photos to a hard drive failure.

In particular, there's other photos from this set that I'm missing, it was called "Super Nova". I'm also missing a lot of the Roller Dirty image set if that's still out there in a decent quality size.

I see I contributed to this as well! ... Googling 'Monroe Land' still reveals lots of highly imaginative pics but what I can't seem to find are any of the 'Trashy Tuesday XXX' videos ... ie: you'd think some of them might have popped up on one or two free sites. However, if they're not ID'd you might miss them. Still, if anyone knows of any, please advise! ...

Oh yes, there's lots of content that's either unearthed or just not widely distributed, and I'd love to find many of my favorite sets that aren't archived all that well, if at all.

Trevor Adams was my favorite (his "Black Heart" persona/shoot pictured above) but I'm also looking for others focused on the likes of Adam Loyn, Dominik Rider, Xavier Muscle, Erik Rhodes (R.I.P.) and Benjamin Patterson.

Here's a tip when looking for penis pics: When searching, always put XXX at the end of your search name or phrase.

Doesn't matter if you're looking for a specific porn star or for a photographer, just put that at the end. In this case "Justin Monroe XXX" or "Justin Monroe photography XXX" and more uncensored pics will come up.

(If the file name is "Image" or "Download" then it will just be a tiny thumbnail and that isn't a good site to save, so just delete it but XXX will help you a lot in finding regular sized photos.)

I tried the waybackmachine internet archive which turns up quite few results but, it appears to not have been updated since 2014 it might not be compatible with current browsers.
I couldn't open the images in either of two browsers.
BTW the site was Saved 209 times between May 20, 2011 and February 27, 2021, and the cite address was www.monroe-land.com

Thanks for the links seven2go ... The pics of Jesse Santana with the un-named tattooist look, as all Monroe pics do, to be heavily posed. They make me wonder if they weren't taken from a video at all but were just a series of still photos, as per the "Photography" credit. As the date at the top is 2012, and if there was a video of this scene, I feel sure it would be floating around on a free porn site by now. I'm beginning to wonder if anyone forked out the $49.95 subscription for Monroe Land. The fact that it no longer exists suggests he didn't have enough money coming in to keep it going! Anyway, here are some screen shots from The Hunk Factor and hopefully someone will know the name of the tattooist ... ...

I agree about the expensive subscription! ... The curious thing about the "hard on filled videos" referred to above is that as far as I know, none have ever popped up on any free sites. Nor were there any little 'preview' clips at the time to whet the appetite. I'm hoping that someone here would have forked out for this site and can let us know if they downloaded any of the vids, including "Tat That Ass"! ... Incidentally, these pics - some more down below - come from the Hunkboy page that seven2go told us about. I wonder if Hunkboy got them from a video or just stills from the mag? Anyway, Hunkboy hasn't been updated since 2016 so I guess we'll never know! ... And yes, we need the name of the tattooist ... ...
