Anyone Travel to Asia?

Been to Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan, although Australia and New Zealand are not really part of Asia. If you want to travel cheap, your money can go a long way in the Philippines or other similar countries. If you're prepared to spend a lot, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan are 'must see' countries in Asia. Asian food are fabulous, and there's a great variety from spicy to sweet, saucy and dry, and even from a tiger's penis to Ox tongue. Honestly, I've never tried a tiger's penis although I don't see a reason why you shouldn't. There are so many things to see in Asia, just be aware of the laws of the countries you're visiting.

There are lots of places to go to in the Philippines. The cheap local air tickets they are talking about here are really cheap. A 2 way ticket cost me 74 dollars. There are some airline promos too.
Philippines is a group of islands divided into 3. You won't run out of things to do. You can check out lonely planet for this one.

Saw that Indonesia was on your list. I backpacked for 2 months there (it was awhile ago) and loved every day. It is quite poor, but you won't see the heartbreaking scenes there that you are worrying about for India. The people are friendly and the experiences fantastic. And it is definitely not a fast-paced country.

That's great to hear... I need a break from the fast paced life here... that's definitely going my list now

Will you go there alone or with a group?
have you considering about the language barrier?:p
