AO Open: Who are your picks?

I'm sticking with The Fed. Would love it if Hingis won, but I'll put my money on Maria Sharapova

Nadal pulled up lame during his game at the Sydney Open this afternoon. Think I will go with the Fed. For the women, I hope all shreikers, grunters and groaners lose in the first round. Then I don't care who wins.

Sharapova is the clear favourite for the women's title I think ONLY Clijsters can stop her. If not Clijsters then Mauresmo. I like Hingis but I just don't think she can go all the way anymore. On the men's side of course Federer but also Safin he's done very well in Australia this decade. He's been in the finals twice and won the event once. Hewitt can do well, as can Roddick and Nadal and I really thnk thats it. Ljubicic, Blake, Nalbandian can go far but I don't see them winning the whole thng.

I wonder how Serena will do this year. I always liked her and she seems to be in better shape this year.

Just for fun I also included a slightly revealing pic of James Blake, a random hot pic of Tommy Haas, and last but not least a pic of Nadal, the hottest tennis player on the planet who withdrew with a groin injury from this week's Sydney tournament.

Anyone volunteers to massage Nadal's groin so he can be 100% for next week in melbourne? :D

Serena lost to Sybille Bammer from Austria shocking result 3-6 7-5 6-3. And she was 3-1 up in the second set. Venus has pulled out with the wrist injury she will not play the Australian Open. Henin Hardenne also pulled out she is going through a rocky period in her marriage. Word on the street is her husband is pissed off she spends so much time with her coach.,

Henin Hardenne ... is going through a rocky period in her marriage. Word on the street is her husband is pissed off she spends so much time with her coach.

Thanks for that gossip straight from the streets of Belgium....keep it coming!

and if i'm not incorrect, her husband wasn't there at the ao final last year...that could be a reason why she lost to amelie...hehehe

Federer and Hingis.

Why does Federer bulge so much. If i was playing him i might be distracted.

Andy Roddick shows so much skin. After every point he played last night he lifted up his shirt. He doesnt have a 6 pac anymore but his stomach was sexy.

His opponent showed some skin too hot hot hot.

She lost Mauresmo last year because she was ill. She retired in the second set without completing the match.

On to other news, I used to be a fan of Roddick and was a fan of Andy Murray, Britain's next big hope, before he signed with Brad Gilbert. Nothing against Gilbert, but I see so much of Roddicks' cocky arrogance in that boy already. I was definately rooting against him when he played Nadal (a GREAT match by the way).

Thank you, Brad Gilbert, train 'em while they're young. Talk some sportsmanship into your players, please... yelling and whining before you win a tournament does not bode well. I can't wait 'til the French gets a hold on him during the French Open if he goes into a whiny tirade.

This is Federer's major to lose (as usual). Though a collision with Andy Roddick will a big test for him, seeing how he has been breezing through so far. Since James Blake is ousted, it looks like another Federer/Nadal final again. Unless Roddick steps it up and pulls off an upset (Roddick is 1-12 against Federer all-time).

If Martina beats Kim Clijsters then she will be win the Australian Open. If not then Kim will win it.

Federer on the mens side
