if Apple pulled the app because it was a fraud, I'd agree with you.
but they pulled it because people complained and they bowed to the pressure.
if they get a million straight customers complaining about a pro-gay app, do you think their response will be different?

Apple removed the application because they believed that the numbers who had signed a petition for the application's removal was sufficient evidence that they might be losing customers, and that would impact on their bottom line - Profit.
I have never heard of an application that presumed to transform heterosexual people into homosexuals. The same argument would apply. Sexual orientation cannot be changed.
