Why do guys do this? It is the biggest turn off ever. Someone please explain this to me.
 
Are you talking about grooming, or physical inflections?
 
I don't arch my eyebrows but I do trim them and tweeze long, individual stray hairs. If any of you were raised around coal miners you will know the name John L. Lewis, long ago president of the United Mine Workers. Just do a Google Images for his name and look at his eyebrows. I always swore I would never have eyebrows like that. If you keep them trimmed it is no different than trimming your pubes.
 
I don't mean trimmed I mean full on waxing at the salon or plucking them to a thin line. My quote is, "If I see red in the corner of that brow, than I will get out somehow.":wave:
 
I pluck my unibrow and clean up around the edges because my eyebrows are completely wild. I try not to do any shaping, but my eyebrows are strangely asymmetrical so I do get at a few odd hairs here and there. I don't really understand why guys do it; I find it rather unattractive.
 
i find shaggy eyebrows unattractive...i mean, its no different from shaving and hair cuts....sure i dont like unnatural arches to the eyebrow but i dont want to look at ur face and wonder if i should kiss u or get the weed wacker
 
im all for nice eyebrows. a bit of an arch is nice.

but when guys do them TOO much, it look terrible. i do mine and everyone i know and have met says they look great and not that "gay" look.

The problem is when guys tweeze the top bit of the eyebrows, thats when it looks really bad. just do underneath and dont get too tweezer happy!
 
I know some of you guys on here do it cause I have seen your pics. Those who do it can you explain it to me? Just wondering what goes through your mind with lady brows on your face. After when you see the wax, pluck job do you think it's so hot it will attract men or what? I actually am curious about this. I have seen so many cute guys fuck up their faces and never got why?
 
Black women never do. It takes them ages to figure out what's different about my face.

Then again, I normally aim for more androgynous looks, which I don't think you're after.

arching eyebrows like a girl doesnt look good but some of us guys have very thick bushy eyebrows. i get mine waxed to make it look cleaner, definitely not woman though.
 
Mine look like I pluck, but they are just naturally shaped perfectly. Can be annoying at times, 'cause usually people don't believe I don't pluck.
