It seems to me some white gay men can't handle an honest dose of TRUTH.
I find the hypocrisy and the undertones in the comments hypocritical by some of the white gay guys.
And then white gay men COMPLAIN and BITCH and wonder, why black gay men don't want anything
to do with them, and don't respect them. This is one of the reasons, I stopped going to gay blogs
like Queerty or Towelroad, the racism is so extreme and annoying.
I think some white gay men especially the young ones, they don't seem to acknowledge their white skin privilege nor their male privilege.
Some of these white gay men are so racist and DISGUSTING.
They don't want to talk about race, because it makes them uncomfortable BUT also because they have white privilege they DON'T have to think about it.
When does a white gay guy ever have to really worry about race? When you have white privilege you don't have to think about it.
These white gay guys act like they don't have privilege they don't acknowledge it. They don't acknowledge how white gay men have discriminated against everyone else in the gay community.
And when gay men of colour point out to these white gay men they have white privilege they get angry about it. They don't check their white privilege.
I also have found some of the young white gay men if they are attractive are kind of vain because the gay culture places them on a pedestal. If you look at the books, magazines, blogs, gay blogs, they focus on young white attractive men.
The funny thing about some white gay men is they think ALL men of colour want them. Then, the white guys are SHOCKED when they get rejected by gay men of colour.
I have spoken to plenty of black gay men and Asian men when they go to Adam4Adam or those gay hook up sites some white guys get really bitchy and pissy when they are turned down.
I think some white gay guys think they are supposed to be placed on a pedestal. These white gay guys need to get over themselves and look in the mirror at the truth.

doesn't most of your posts count as someone being angry and bitchy? 
they basically are assholes and then when they get a taste of their own medicine because someone calls them out or confronts them on their behavior, they want to play the victim role, "i'm just being me" or "i'm just keeping it real" and will even use the homophobia card as a means of manipulation. i'm simply tired of people that are assholes that want the world to kiss their ass and on the same face, don't want to change their ways or even acknowledge that they're assholes to others to begin with. it works both ways.
